Does anyone know if there's anything I can put down my drain to unblock it?
Have tried using plunger but doesn;t seem to work.

TIA

Mr Muscle sink and plughole unblocker, or whatever they call it these days. It's good. If you're feeling a bit eco you can put bicarb in the plughole and then pour in vinegar, but Mr M is better!

Thanks for that.
It was the bicarb I was thinking of, but sounds like Mr M might be better this time as this blockage is very stubborn Smile

Things like Mr M are caustic soda, which you can buy cheaply in wilko or asda and just mix with water. Does the same job for a pound or so.

Domestos sink unblocker is good too.

Is the drain just sluggish or backing up? If sluggish put the plug in the sink, add lots of soda crystals and boiling water and let the water drain out gradually. Repeat as necessary. Once cleared, do not put fat down the drain or rinse food debris away; leave it to harden and scrape it off onto newspaper and bin. Everyone in the household that uses the sink needs to do the same.
