I went to the pub with some school parents but just had the one drink. Now I am lying in bed I can hear something buzzing about in the bedroom. In November. So annoying.

Second film screening was fab. Really immersive and interesting, IMAX documentary called Under the Sea. Lots of smaller kids reaching out to try and touch the fish 😅

H is promised to take away the rubbish on 11th Nov, I'm sick of waiting.

Today's going to be a tough work day as I'm short resources due to a breakdown but I'm finished 2.5 hours early so I'll just look forward to that

Morning all! Urgh, have not been sleeping well this week. Finding it hard to drop off then awake earlier than my alarm. We have a horrendously busy weekend ahead (aren't all weekends leading up to Christmas?!) so I need to start making mid-week more focused on resting.
Work shortly, then looking after elderly FIL (just been diagnosed with dementia so we're trying to spend more time with him - taking him to a football match on Saturday).

Ds slept through!!!!! No idea why but I don’t care!

I’m going into town today to meet a friend for coffee. Needto pick up my wedding ring which I had resized. Might do some Christmas shopping while I’m there. Need to get things for dh ds and Dd.

I have to be a bit more careful with money now. Today would have been payday. But no payday for me now until February.

Need to also make a payment into my pension so must contact them to do this soon.

Sea they did a series of talks about their bike riding. It is ticketed so they can pay back some of the family money spent going on their adventures. They are quite well known in adventure circles so are getting invites to speak... Kendal last weekend, Bruges this weekend.

Bargain of the week - I have a new hat for winter. DH's staff discount = half price. £8 saved. Which offsets the £8 paid to park at the hospital for DD tooth surgery which was cancelled for a second time. The surgeon wasn't confident that it was as straightforward as his underlings thought it was - so more scans to work out exactly where the teeth are. Poor DD was all gowned up.

Anyone any experience of Kalms night or Bach night remedy, found them in the bathroom cabinet, and just thought they might be something to aid my sleep. They were ex's that I purchased but he wouldn't use them in case he didn't wake when alarm went off

Great news about the sleep em I hear ya with not moving him out of cot, ds is 6 and dd is 9 and I still have a stair gate at top of stairs

After my success selling fireguard so quickly last week, I'm inspired to visit attic and take photos of high chair and anything else that doesn't need moving to our next house

£21 boden 🤦🏽‍♀️ but in my defence I got ds a hoody (that should have been £40) and dd a t shirt (that should have been £18). Ds has no hoodies that fit and I was looking at a v similar one in mountain warehouse for £15. This will have a decent resale value though

Thanks lovelies 🥰 nice morning so far, got lovely card from dd, she has rationed my presents (so I don't get over excited?!) so I had two this morning and get the rest after school 🤣

I got money from my mum and dad, I've moved some straight to savings 😇

Dds brace has come loose so need to sort that out and the dog needs more food so life plods on regardless of bdays! However going out for tea tonight with mum, dd and the puppy so that will be nice.

Have put £10 on dds school dinner account this morning.

Been dealing with poorly weans so have been a bit quiet. On the mend tho so have tried to catch up over the end of the last thread and start of this one.

Well done on making the therapy decision Em. I have issues with health anxiety though am in a much better place than this time last year. I had CBT but was also very very fortunate to have been referred to a clinical psychologist while pregnant.

Sorry about the extended wait Plan. What a worrying time.

Girlie I had horrendous ovary pain during ovulation this cycle. Poor DD. That said, I think mine is caused by a resulting complication of a totally fucked c section earlier this year .

Been a tad spendy but pretty much all budgeted for. Have very nearly finished Christmas shopping. Just an Echo to get for my dad and hoping for a good deal for Black Friday! Same as you Em I now have no pay until February so had to be organised early! Although just got a bonus surprise to find our I’m actually getting one last week of SMP in this months pay. Woooop!
