Honeyapple - TBC cd23 8DPO (6th cycle ttc)
LondonLottie - TBC CD15 (4th cycle ttc)
Minxi - 36.33 cd9 (8th cycle ttc)
Mum03 - 36.9 cd22 / 8 or 10dpo (2nd cycle ttc)
Rah - TBC CD21(3rd cycle ttc)
Ready - TBC CD9 (6th cycle ttc)
iwill - 36.41 CD9 (9th cycle ttc)

iwill - glad to hear that chat with dp went well, it is important to get support when you are concerned.

Minxi - hope you have been recovering at the playzone following your morning exercise! You think that the dip in temp today was an o-dip?

Angelfire - do you know your stats to add to the list? I am sorry I can't help with your question, I am one of those people who have no warning of spotting before af, I just come on heavy flow straight away.

Greedy and fettle - how are you doing? Greedy is tomorrow the day for your next scan, I have lost track of time, or is it next week?

Rah - without broadband, the last thread was taking me ages to get to the point where I could add a message, this is easier now. Hope that you are still having lazy mornings in bed.

Lottie - posted message to you on yesterdays thread! Are you getting dp in the mood yet? Or is work still to much for him?

I will try to catch up with everyone again later... have a good morning.

Hi Mum03!
Need your help with the whole stat thing!!!!!! Do I copy everyone elses and add mine? Do you do it every day? Why do so many people have TBC in front of their temperature? I assume it stands for to be confirmed?
If I am going from from first day of heavy flow then I am 36.27 CD5 (2nd cycle ttc).

Sorry for all the stupid questions!!

Mum it was useful to realize that people can come on full straight away, I had always assumed that people get the light flow first!!! So thanks for that!

Thanks Lottie that makes perfect sense!!! Very impressed with your ordering of it too!!!!!
IWILL Sorry forgot to answer your question about the test I did it comes from Boots (and online) and its new - I think! Quite expensive though to test myself and partner it was £60. I did a lot of research on it (when you get to know me better you will find that I always research everything to the last detail!!!) and it is as accurate as going to your doctors.
Both our results came out positive so we are both OK i.e. he has motile sperm and I have good quality eggs - yipeee!!!!!

Crumbs, was worried for a minute there, thought you had all done a runner and left me Thanks very much for all the birthday wishes, I had a lovely day, got lots of wonderful presents, and yes! had a marathon sesh
Apologies for yesterday's essay and apologies in advance for today!! I don't do things by half!

Minxi, very jealous of your own place in Spain, I would love to have a holiday home!! Are you renting it out to family and friends or advertising it nationally?? Sorry if that is too nosy?

Iwillbe, No, didn't get any snow, well none that settled anyhow Congrats on being offered a new job, good luck deciding what to do. But nothing ventured...? Good to hear that you and DP have had a good ol' chat and are united. Good for you

Seaside72, nice to see you here! Are you going to post your temps on our daily list?

Rahrah, charts spotters thread is where I look at the charts of those who have them online. I don't have one BTW, not yet ... thanks for the interesting info about the implantation dip!! The charts are only a tool in hindsight though aren't they! Hope you are relaxing lots, that is an order I wouldn't worry too much about your temps this month, because of being in a different environment and all. And I agree with Lottie, it's perfectly normal to OV later. Hang in there flower

Lottie, Re: your wedding dress... I would say it depends entirely on how much you love the dress. Once I had my heart set on mine, I could never have worn another. Not to mention how sodding hard it is to find the perfect dress. I totally agree with you, it made perfect sense, that if only we could get our brains to think it will take 12 months (in my case) then we'd be more relaxed about it not happening. Oh if only!! I am trying though. This month for example, I feel positive and optimistic, but also not too hopeful, if that makes any sense at all?? Oh, and I totally empathise with you about organising everything, I am guilty of that. I am a control freak!

Mum03, sorry that the long threads are a pain to download, I suppose I don't really help matters with my ridiculously long posts I just always have so much to say!! Well done you for the link though, you didn't need me!! Your high temps are very promising!! My fingers and toes are still crossed. How exciting!! You could be joining greedy and fettle!!

Angelfire777, or should I call you, The Researcher I don't have spotting prior to full on bleeding. For me I go from nothing to full flow on CD1... but having said that I know that the opinions differ, someone somewhere on MN said that their fertility consulant had told them spotting was CD1 but also others say full flow only. I guess for the purposes of fertell I would just follow their instructions and for the purposes of charting your temps, go with full flow if that is what you are used to??

Minxi, OOOh, could well be a pre-ov dip?? So early OV? When do you "normally" OV? How's the EWCF? Will be interesting to see your temps over the next couple of days Good job DH is eager at what could well be the right time

Honeyapple, Eagerly waiting your temp... I have such high hopes for you this cycle!! fingers and toes crossed

ForcesSweetheart, sorry to hear that this month was not to be, and I hope that your break does you the world of good. But, don't be a stranger, as I said before

Greedy... thanks for the birthday serenade

I'd like to join but a little confused , could someone give me a breakdown on all the details entered, ie: temp given is from when? and what is CD? Thanks

Report
Ready · 11/02/2007 14:31

weepootleflump, we list our temps daily, the first one of us online each day starts the new list, changing everyone's cd and putting tbc for the temp. "CD" is Cycle Day of menstrual cycle.

Angelfire - 36.27 CD5 (2nd cycle ttc)
Ready - 36.06 CD9 (6th cycle ttc)
iwill - 36.41 CD9 (9th cycle ttc)
Minxi - 36.33 cd9 (8th cycle ttc)
LondonLottie - 36.3 CD15 (4th cycle ttc)
Rah - 36.3 CD21(3rd cycle ttc)
Mum03 - 36.9 cd22 / 8 or 10dpo (2nd cycle ttc)
Honeyapple - TBC cd23 8DPO (6th cycle ttc)
Weepootleflump - TBC CD?? (?th cycle ttc)

When Honeyapple comes on later, she will amend TBC to her temp (hope it's high!) and repost the list. And you can copy the entire list changing adding in your details if you want to join in. Have I explained it right??

Have you been charting your temp before now? Or is this all new? Good luck.

Londonlottie. Yes it was the Fertell test!!! So pleased yours was positive too! Its such a relief to known that I have a fighting chance to get PG. My DP thinks he has supersperm usually, so it was interesting seeing him a bit nervous about the results!!
Ready. Thanks for that. Its so useful to find out about other peoples cycles.

Anybody that has read TCOYF did you feel angry that you hadnt known all the information that your body tells you sooner i.e. in your teens.I did for a couple of days. I am pretty aware of most things but somehow I missed that there was actually a pattern to my CF !!!!!! I have made it a little mission to spread it to as many people as poss!! I teach as the cello as well as play it professionally so all my pupils know about CF, Basal Temp etc. now - poor things!!!

Does anyone else do the cervix test? I think it might take me a lot more time to be able to read this sign.

Afternoon!
Yep temp still up above coverline- although done a degree from yesterdays rise. I am trying not to get excited thinking that might have been implantation... probably not!! But here's hoping.

Hi to the new tempers. Good to have a few newbies- although not to many please i can't keep up with lists of hundreds of people- sorry not being too grumpy am i?
Please stick with us- it's a very surportive thread. We're all going to say until everyone is PG!

Interesting about Croatia greedy- i think there are a couple of sandy beaches, but mainly pebbles and rocks... we'd def need somewhere with a pool...
It's difficult thinking of somewhere new to go! that isnt too far...or too pricey...
any ideas?

Hi Londonlottie. Well said!!! All the things you said I totally agree with and believe thats why we are not told. My doctor looked horriied when i said that I was charting my cervical fluid, temp and cervix and she is a woman!!! It also shows you how very few women know this stuff by the fact that i couldnt find a Basal Thermometer in the shops - supply and demand and all that!!!

The Fertell tests the female ovarian reserve and as far as I understand it this tells you about the quality of your eggs. If your egg quality has decreased then the chances of your egg being fertilsed are reduced. So you dont need to worry about this!!

By your question about stop ovulating I assume you mean stop ovulating all together i.e. menopause and not anovulation? Gradually over a period of time, i think i read 10 -15 years, your ovaries gradually stop maturing eggs hence the Fertell test.
As to whether we stop ovulating because we have run out of eggs there is a slight disagreement about this. I read that there is still an uncertainty as to whether postmenopausal women have no eggs left at this point or have a few ova left that dont respond to the hormones. So no wonder you are confused as there is no definite answer to this.
I hope this helps?!!!

Well, as you have invited me I would love to join in also

So here goes

Angelfire - 36.27 CD5 (2nd cycle ttc)
Ready - 36.06 CD9 (6th cycle ttc)
iwill - 36.41 CD9 (9th cycle ttc)
Minxi - 36.33 cd9 (8th cycle ttc)
seaside72 - 36.38 CD13 (11th cycle ttc)
LondonLottie - 36.3 CD15 (4th cycle ttc)
Rah - 36.3 CD21(3rd cycle ttc)
Mum03 - 36.9 cd22 / 8 or 10dpo (2nd cycle ttc)
Honeyapple - TBC cd23 8DPO (6th cycle ttc)
Weepootleflump - TBC CD?? (?th cycle ttc)

I have to say that the whole temping thing is a bit of a mystery still - but I guess this is the first cycle of doing it so maybe I will see some patterns emerging in the future .
So far my temps have been no higher than 36.55 - with a few erractic dips (but think that could be due to distrurbed sleep?) and I haven't been mega consistent with the time taking them - usually around 8am - will try and be better next cycle!

Anyway - CD13 today - according to CB monitor yesterday and today are peak days (and other ebay ov test seemed to pick up a bit of an LH surge yesterday afternoon )- so I guess now I am waiting to see if my temps rise in the next day or two - is that right temping experts?

I bought the Fertell test last year (just noticed the price has dropped to £60 in boots -it was £79 when I bought it last year I am sure !!) I did the test - but DH cannot be persuaded, plus GP told us not waste our money ( of course I never listen - but DH thinks he is right) so his bit is still sitting there gathering dust!! - The look on his face when I unwrapped it - you would have thought I had brought home some instrument of torture!! Might try and have a go showing it to him again this month!!

Must admit even I am a little scared of him doing it and finding a problem - My part was fine, but I guess one way or another if his is OK then it would be a relief and if not it gives me a reason to go back to our unhelpful GP.

lottie - I believe the female part of the test confirms if you have a healthy ovarian reserve - ie still some good eggs left (not sure how). This was actually the biggest shock for me in the whole TTC learning curve - that we women are born with all the eggs we will ever have - we can't make more like men with their sperm - so that's why as we age the eggs age too. For us in our mid-thirties it is definitely a bit of information worth knowing.

Sorry for the essay - giving Ready a run for her money!
