I've never heard of Ever-Lyn as a pronunciation of Evelyn.

It's either Ev-Lyn or Eve-Lyn. Both are valid. I prefer Eve-Lyn.

Ever-lyn. It was my aunts name and that was how she said it! Originally from Cardiff.

My dear GM's middle name and I love it.

Either. I prefer Ever-Lyn,, and thought it was always that as a child, but the only real life ones I've known have been Eve-Lyns so I'd check before saying it.

I'm from South-West/South-East.

EV-lyn. (my aunt). Am American. Could just about push to EV-el-in on occasion.

I found Eve-linn really weird at first, but okay with it now. My aunt's name is never shortened.
