I like Louisa too - unusual but a name everyone knows.

They will be about 8 before they can spell Saoirse, plus will have to spell it over the phone for the rest of their life, plus tell most people how to pronounce it!!!!

Love Louisa, Roslaie, Faye, Amy.

Caitlin is my favourite. Also like Louisa and Rosanna. Hate Faye. Tierney sounds like a surname.

Yes z123 that's the only thing putting me off Saoirse- the pronounciation and spelling. I've grown up with a name that everyone constantly mispronounces so I'm keen for my children to have names that are easy to pronounce. I think Saoirse might be limited to middle name only usage because of this :(

Louisa. Very cute and can be "grown into" for a beautiful adult name Smile
Rosanna - I have an aunt with this name. Not a good association

My niece is Tierney. I've never heard anyone else suggesting it before, let alone meeting or hearing of any others. I think it is really a surname. I'd put it in with names like Harper. Nice looking masculine sort of girls' name. It's certainly the most unusual on the list!

I knew a Tierney growing up. Never thought of it as a surname
