I'm exhausted! I don't know how I'm still alive.

I'm so tired i don't even know what I did today, I'll also be tired tomorrow.

I once went on holiday by myself and floated on a lilo for a week. I did nothing but float and read.

I could do with floating and reading.

I'd actually give up a kidney for that holiday right now.

I’d give anything to be floating and reading. Sometimes it feels like there simply aren’t enough hours in the day. To make things worse I’m up at 6:30 but I’m unable to sleep. Haven’t consumed caffeine since midday so no idea why I’m wide awake right now Sad

A kidney, you say? I would give all my organs.

I'd keep my liver so I could drink, but a quiet holiday away sounds amazing!

I was thinking the same op.

I’m so tired I hope tonight I dream of your holiday, floating and reading. This maybe my new go to dream, move over vikings from last kingdom.
probably end up turning into a nightmare struggling to get a nappy on a lilo whilst a book reads out all the parenting advice I’ve had forced upon me in the last few months
Always tired. It amazes me now when ailments still have symptoms of tiredness. Like, who isn’t tired. Who is well rested. I don’t think I’ve ever woken up thinking I felt refreshed, energised and chomping at the bit.

I am very rarely tired.

I am starting IVF soon.

In a year I hope I will be tried.

Remind me of this if that happens Grin

@AliceAbsolum you'll be on here in a year going "WHY DID I SAY I WISH I WAS TIRED"

It feels like a hundred years since I got more than 3 hours sleep in a row. There’s a reason they use sleep deprivation as a method of torture!

@SneakyGremlins Yeah!! I frickin hope so 😃

I said something similar on a thread last night/this morning, Daff.

Of course, there's tired and there's TIRED.

I used to think that I knew what TIRED was.

I am very tired and yet wide awake.

I want a lilo and a book and uninterrupted bliss somewhere peaceful.

I want not to be rushing through the mounds of laundry and always thinking of how to get caught up.

Perhaps I need to drink more coffee.

Actually I said it the night before last/yesterday morning. I don't even know what day it is anymore!

My 9 year old never seems to be tired.....
I'm so tired, I tend to drop off at 9pm.
BUT, its 7.20 here, so it's not me on MN in the middle of the night. I've done the packed lunches and school run and am sitting down for a cup of tea!

I'm exhausted. Working full time, some very important exams coming up so I am trying to study 6-7-8 hours a day, struggling to get 3x times a week to the gym plus usual household stuff (and I have help, so can't complain!)

Short holiday coming up end of February and longer one in May. I cannot wait.

I'll tell you more about the holiday, i rented a small, cheap villa and had the pool to myself. I didn't speak to anyone except the takeaway delivery guy who brought me a healthy Greek dinner every night. By day 6 i was actually looking forward to seeing my family. I floated naked, cos it was just me.

Naked reading and floating is my idea of heaven, I wonder if Jet2 will find me the right holiday if I put that in my search bar

Ive been unwell since Christmas. I’m bloody exhausted. Curled up in bed with the electric blanket on. Don’t even have the energy to load the washing machine. I’m so tired of being ill all the time. I went to bed at 9.00 last night too - doesn’t matter how long I sleep, I’m still shattered Sad

Not tired at all.

Lots of vitamin supplements particularly D and B12 this time of year, kefir, green tea (coffee, lots (!) before midday only) Neom sleep pillow spray. Either 8000 steps outside or a yoga class. 10 minutes of mindfulness practice a day. Limit reading the news or distressing posts on Mumsnet. Bed before 11. If time then warm bath before bed.

Took me a long time to work out what worked best for me. If I follow the above I regularly get between 7 and 8 hours sleep.

I'm mentally weary, but not physically tired. I drink oat milk with cacao in the morning and that seems to perk me up quite nicely.

Lots and lots of women are borderline anaemic. I take 'gentle iron' and although I get tired, it's not that often and manageable. I would recommend getting your levels checked. Vitamin D also.

I have a sleep disorder, lots of commitments and a generally stressful life. I have now decided I NEED a week's floating and reading holiday.

I felt out of sorts from about mid December until this weekend just gone.
I gave in to it and after Christmas started going to bed 2 hours earlier.
It helps too when the sun's out, like today.
