to ask for recommendations for Professional Confidence Training/Counselling for Women?

Please help!

I work in a very aggressive field that has a considerable proportion of male workers.

I present as extremely self confident and self assured. This external shell used to match up with how I felt inside; it no longer does.

I have had some terrible experiences over time involving bullying and harassment which has taken a serious toll on my self esteem. Throughout this, I just kept going and maintaining the front. Inside, I feel broken, worthless and highly anxious.

I have a crucial make or break work event coming up next year where it is essential that I am at the top of my game. Not this but think of a prolonged assessment process with a turbo-promotion on offer. My professional self -esteem is rock bottom and I urgently need to get my inside matching up with my outside.

Can anyone recommend any professional confidence/self esteem boosting training or counselling services? Money is no issue and I'm willing to pay if the service is good.

(If it's relevant, I would really need someone who was used to training those based in alpha male hostile work environments.).

Take a look at Dr Sam Collins and her Aspire Foundation, might fit the bill.

Thank you Ffion - I've checked out her site but it looks more like group/company work and I'm looking for individual one-on-one type training or therapy/counselling.

Does anyone have any other recommendations please?

I Eventually left just such a work environment as I was having so much anxiety over the daily multiple verbal skirmishes and digs. I wish I had thought about doing something like this then! Good luck OP.

Thanks MissFatty - I was hoping for some personal recommendations but maybe everyone just gives up in the end. I kind of feel like giving up that's for sure.

Id recommend Judith Leary Joyce. She works with women in your environment as an executive coach and her special interest is women and confidence. Her personal website has her confidence work on it www.judithlearyjoyce.com .

Forgot to ad that I have worked with her and she has helped me make significant shifts in my thinking.

I’ve benefited a lot from from Ressonance voice coaching. resonancevoice.com

Really lovely people and I’ve been able to see a difference in my personal impact and confidence.

SoftCentreHardShell · 18/04/2018 14:08

Thanks Grim & User - I will look at both. I'm not sure voice coaching is what I need. It's more about internal self esteem and confidence.
