Soooo bored of Tesco and Morrison’s.

Feel like we’ve all gone off the normal dinners & stuff we have.

Doing an Asda food shop but what would people recommend? No dietary requirements.

Sausages. Meribel potatoes. Fresh fruit slices. Fresh bread.

What does ASDA Stand for? It's all capitals so I guess it stands for something.

I just ate an asda cookie pizza from the fresh desert section.

I basically died and went to heaven.

Associated dairies! That's what it stands for. I had an interview at head office once.

Their vindaloo curry (the one that comes on its own, not with rice).

Scotch pancake stack things. And a fresh loaf with cheese in it. Tasty!

@kenndodd Associated Dairies. That's why we say 'The' Asda in Liverpool. It's actually correct ✌

I don't know if it's also sold elsewhere, but Tim's dairy greek yoghurt. I like the strawberry and vanilla favours. It's the thickest yoghurt I've ever come across. (I avoid the one's with "set" in the description, as they are literally set like a jelly dessert. Fine if you want them as a dessert, but no good if you want to mix with granola for breakfast.)

Asda has the best loaf of Tiger bread. (And Waitrose the worst.)

Their meat, IMO is good.
Their steak is delicious.

Their minced beef it good. So is their chicken breasts and turkey breasts. Beef to roast is good. All their lamb is good.

Their bread is great.
I buy all our groceries from them as they are good and cheap.

My husband likes their fresh juice, three one litre bottles for three quid. Excellent.

Fruit and veg is good and cheap. So is their milk.

For me it's some new towels! I've not quite convinced myself that my old ones are ready for the bin.
Tiger bread is also good.

In the freezer section they have a 2 for £5 offer on frozen chicken stuffed with pork & sage stuffing. You can cook it straight from frozen and it's absolutely divine

Never had bad anything in the Asda. Trinity the Smithdown Road branch caters for the local diverse population and you can buy massive bunches of herbs and unusual fruit/veg.

Their throws are the softest! Everyone who is ever lucky enough to snuggle with it on my sofa asks where it's from.

The small fleece throws for kids are soft and hard-wearing and designed to match bedding. About £6.

I prefer their kids PJs to Matalan and Primark as they wash better.

Their brioche with crème patissiere is really nice.

Their pizza counter! And their yogurt is nice as well, but I've only tried the plain one.

Have to say I don't like their meat (plain one) or cleaning stuff as I found them to be pretty rubbish- this is a pain as I live very close to an Asda.

We used to love their sausages. 3 packs for £5. That was 9yrs ago, they may have gone up in price now.
