AIBU?

To ask about pubic hair removal?

I’m quite new here not sure where to post this so feel free to move the post.

I just wonder if you remove your pink hair how do you do it? Shaving is making me so sore and itchy, hair removal cream doesn’t seem to work too well, Home waxing kit was pointless and pretty much just took my skin off (ouch!)

Is a proper wax the only way?

Any tips or tricks?

Thank Smile

Shave in the direction of hair growth. Won’t be baby soft or smooth but won’t itch.

Lycon or nothing as far as I'm concerned.

I do same as PP, shave all over in direction of growth, its stopped me getting awful ingrown hairs and doesn't itch when growing back

Just dye it blue and stick some googly eyes on it . Call it your Cookie Monster .

Actually like the Cookie Monster idea! Grin

And ok, that makes sense about shaving in the hair direction I shall give that a go!

I was honestly wondering if pink hair was something I'd missed all my adult life! Grin

Let it grow in! I've just regrown mine (at DH request) after years of waxing and shaving.

It's so liberating. I feel like a new woman☺

Leave it as it is . There is nothing wrong with au naturelle.

If you want to get rid of it - and it’s your body, so what you want! - waxing is the best bet. Hurts like a biatch though.

Go and have a regular proper wax in a salon.

I just tazer the fuck out of mine. Hurts a bit but still... Hmm

Get the Veet in-shower hair removal cream.

It comes with a slightly abrasive sponge to remove it with, which I find works really well.

Just a warning OP there are some militant pubic hair keepers and flaunters on here so you'll get some weird replies.

I use a beard trimmer to keep mine under control. Can’t actually remove it as I get terrible ingrown hairs.

I did look into electrolysis but apparently it won’t work for me

Too right. Genital depilation is so five years ago. Having a bald fanny these days is like having a naff Celtic tattoo.

Leave it alone, OP. Embrace the muff.

It's all going to look really lovely when you are post menopausal, this will happen.

Keep the bush lush. Is my advice.

I shave; always have done. It's not itchy or sore.

I shave every two days, so it only takes a couple of minutes and it's kept looking nice.

I looked like a yeti, bikini-line wise so saved up and got (Dr Evil air quotes) “lasered”. Absolutely life changing. Couldn’t recommend it more and usually places do special offers in January etc which brings the cost down.

I can’t shave either, find the regrowth so uncomfortable! I used to get lycon waxing but now I’m pregnant I just don’t bother Grin
