Shrinking Jaffa Cakes!!

McTitties are reducing the number of Jaffa Cakes from 12 to 10 - that's TEN - in a packet. This is an outrage. I'd boycott them but they're just too.... nom nom.... only 10 in a pack? Not enough to share. Get your own.

Tight bastards. Have you tried own brands. I think the Tesco ones are ok. Not sure on pack size though.

The Aldi ones are nice but DS says he can tell the difference.

Last October we had the Marmite crisis, now this October we have the Jaffa Cake crisis. What will it be next year!

Not sure about Brexit, but can we invoke Godwin's Law yet?

This does cause a problem in that it doesn't divide into a family of 4, I know this is rarely an issue as who on earth 'shares' them? but every now and then its unavoidable.

DS1's favourite, He will be unimpressed. He's just started Uni and Jaffa Cake quantities are very important when an impoverished student. Angry

And if you eat half a pack, 6 is enough, 5 isn't.

I saw jaffa cakes in the ,£ shop.

Terrible though the feckers fancy depriving us of two whole jaffa cakes per packet

I blame hurricane Irma Brexit Trump and BorisfuckinJohnson as he ate all the sodding jaffa cakes and is brexiting us and is a twat.

I have a very odd 'thing' about Jaffa Cakes. I can only eat them in 2s, so a pack of 10 isn't up to the job. Then again I'm a heathen who likes the Asda smartprice JCs, I assume it's only McCheapskates that are going to 10 packs.

As for sharing, I'm afraid I don't understand that. Anyone going near my Jaffa Cakes risks life and limb Smile.

10 is 2 times 5 so can still eat them in 2s

But not if you only want to eat half the packet!

I'm personally outraged. 12 is a great number. It divides by 3 and 4. 10 only divides by 5 and 2. Not shareable at all.

FakePlasticTeaLeaves · 26/09/2017 21:59

This is not really acceptable at all.

Now when I want to shove 12 in my mouth at once, I will have to buy two packs Angry

ALDI jaffa cakes are half the price and DH thinks they are nicer.

I really hope McVities aren't going the same way as Cadbury's .
