Egg mayo sandwich argument

First world argument...is it ever acceptable to have an egg mayo sandwich made with scrambled egg (plain egg nothing added except for the mayo) or should it be boiled egg? Yes seriously we are debating this....

It's unacceptable to ever have any egg mayo sandwiches full stop! 😷

Sure I saw this very debate on here not all that long ago. Should be boiled IMO.

Boiled. It's never occurred to me to use scrambled egg. The texture would be complete different, surely, and the white and yolk would be mixed in scrambled egg.

I couldn't even think about eating scrambled egg on a sandwich. Would it be hot or cold. But if somebody wanted to that would be up to them. It sounds horrible though.

Hard boiled only.

But mayo is my sauce of choice with hot scrambled or fried eggs.

It's the only way.

The first is a scrambled egg and mayonnaise sandwich (and an abomination), the second is an egg mayo sandwich.

Oh god not scrambled egg! 🤢

Boiled eggs all the way. Really want an egg mayo sandwich now...

It should be boiled egg. Scrambled egg and mayo would be weird!

Boiled and mayo

I once went to a new cafe which turned into a Chinese restaurant at night

Fantastic place

When i first went in i asked for a egg mayo sandwich

I got a scrambled egg sandwich...i ate the egg and left the bread and told the owner that although it was lovely it wasnt what i was expecting Grin

I then had to explain to the chef how to make it

Boiled egg and it should still be warm when eaten

Boiled and salad cream.

It's even better to eat it when the egg is still warm from being boiled.

I think boiled is winning. Husband just made lunch with scrambled and I couldn't eat it and the argument began...😉 Think I'm winning!

Boak at the very notion of scrambled eggs as a substitute for a proper egg mayo sandwich.

Boiled all the way. No exceptions.

Bleurgh at a scrambled egg sandwich.

Hard boiled egg with mayo.

I like having mayo with scrambled egg sometimes but that's absolutely not what egg mayo is. Egg mayo is made with hard boiled eggs.

boiled and mayo, hence why its called egg MAYO and not egg salad cream
