Just wondering what do you usually do on Sunday morning..?

Usually I'd be hungover or starting a Sunday sesh but as I'm 3 days over due with number 2 I can't do that

I used to stand on the side of rugby pitches and riding lessons in the freezing cold getting soaked but now my little darlings have hit their teenage years they like to stay nice and warm at home instead. We are busy every school evening though with other hobbies but my Sunday mornings are now my own

DCs are with their dad this weekend so I'm still in bed. I've got a hot cup of coffee and my iPad. It's bliss after the manic week I've had. I'll probably stay here all morning.

We're currently lying in our bed with dcs watching children's film on Netflix. Dd1 was up around 7 and came through to play lego in our room, we lay in until Dd2got up at 9.45am and then I got up and made us all breakfast in bed (second breakfast as Dd1 had something when she first got up). Unusually lazy day today but we will get organised to go out soon. Happily not hungover after a wine filled lunch with my sister yesterday!

This morning DP is cooking breakfast while we drink real coffee and listen to Elton. Going to have a Masterchef Australia marathon after before I cook the roast

Coffee, breakfast in bed, then start the chores.

But today I have a cold, so I'm laid up on the sofa feeling a bit sorry for myself whilst doing life admin (visa application- yawn) instead of laundry / clean bathroom / prep meals etc.

I should really be tidying up as the house is a shit tip, but instead I am trapped under a snoring dog, watching Masterchef Australia. It's a hard life!

Although just to point out, I did suggest the idea of a walk to said dog. She looked at me like I'd just suggested setting her on fire, so sofa it is!

It depends really.

This morning we all had a lie in(got back quite late from a fair with the children last night) DS18 got up he had to be at work for 8.45 bless him(so he managed an hour lay in)my DH made all the children they're breakfast.

I watched a film with our 2DD's then I went and pottered about in the front garden(weeding and watering all the plants)I just need to do the back garden now and my DH's going to pick up a few bits of shopping.

Other Sundays we might be on our way out by 9am to a car boot sale,the seaside for the day or we'll go and visit a theme park.

Some sundays we'll have a lie in,breakfast in bed,lounge around in PJ's watching a movie or 2 with our 5DC then we'll all get ready and go into town for a nice meal in a restaurant.

Other Sundays we'll go and visit my Dad,my Brother and Nephew(they live together)and the Dogs and I'll take up some home baking I've done for them all and if it's nice weather me and my DH will do bits in the garden for my Dad and get some bits done in the house and my DH will take the Dogs for a week.

I'm catching up on strictly. DD 9 months is asleep on my lap. DH has gone for a lie down as he was up at 6 watching F1. We're going to the allotment to do some tidying up after lunch.

Usually lazy is morning pottering/doing jobs.hang out washing(depending on weather) play with kids. Get dressed around 9.30/10 then we usually go out for a long walk and have lunch out. But dp is doing overtime today so will make a roast today for him finishing. Love these frosty autumn days for walks and fires on at home.

Well just now DP is off to get rolls and sausage for us all, the cat and I are snuggled up on couch watching Saturday Kitchen best bits and DS is playing a game on his iPad. DS has a swimming gala thing with his Beavers today so we will start getting organised for that in an hour or so.

We usually don't laze around this late, Sunday is the only day DP gets off so we always make sure we are out and about and do something with DS but due to swimming gala we are just doing it a bit later today.

DC swimming lessons. It's an early start for us. Saturday's are more relaxed.

Quite busy as have ponies and dogs! Fine on nice bright autumn mornings not so fine on cold rainy winter ones .
Was up at 6.30 pony ridden, both turned out, fields and stables cleaned.
Dogs walked. Now just having a coffee and mumsnetting.
Then time for house tidy and round to PIL for dinner.

I wish I could have a lazy Sunday!! My kids don't seem to know the meaning of the word. I do get up about half an hour to an hour later than normal on Sunday so can't complain. Then DC1 has an activity so we go to that. Afternoon is either a birthday party or a constant "what are we doing now?". Sometimes we go to soft play. Sometimes manage to get them to sit and watch a film. We do manage to get an hour or so usually where they will sit and watch telly at some point so I can do laundry and go on Mumsnet.

After or before tea usually it's a quick play outside then start the bedtime routine. Homework / reading check at some stage too.

In between DH and I try to do a bit of housework and stop the DC wrecking the house.
