To buy my dog a leather coat?

After getting soaked on our evening walk earlier, my dog is now sulking, it's his first taste of bad weather and is not impressed!
I was looking for a waterproof jacket thing for him, but then found this

Dh says the dog will look ridiculous, but I love it! The dog is a dachshund by the way!

Do it. It will look cute.

I think the fur round the collar would get very wet and uncomfortable. Perhaps a less fancy coat (especially if your daschund has such short legs as the one who lives nearby!)

However, all the dogs I see wearing coats look mildly embarrassed
