A purple faux fur coat?

Which is exactly what my DH has just brought back from Asda for our 3 month old daughter. Confused

Can you wash it first and 'accidentally' shrink it?

Or sneak it into the next charity bag you get?

You'll hate it, she'll love it.

She'll soon grow out of it

Ha ha when I read the title my mind was racing......

Earings?
Red and green? (expect if a beauty Queen).
White after Labour day?
Socks with sandles?
Jeans with no belt? (no belt, no mates!)

But purple fur coat does not sound that bad......but not that good either Grin at least he tried.

i like babies in furry stuff. I prefer teddy bear type fur fabric than something with the texture of a weasel stole a gin hag might wear. But in general, furry baby clothes = lovely snuggly cuddles. Grin

Ah your DH wants to choose something he likes for his daughter, whats wrong with that? I am sure you choose plenty of things and its just a coat.

3 month old babies can get away with wearing absolutely anything (except lingerie and spike heels, obviously).

Furry stuff irritates the hell out of me, it tickles and it is annoying, so I can only imagine how much it will annoy a baby.

And if this is the coat, then YABU - it's adorable.

I was all ready to agree with you - but if it's the one in the link then I think it's really cute.

It sounds lovely. I would like a purple faux fur coat too.

So there.Smile

Oh that coat is much cuter than I was picturing in my head. However I think that a 3mth old is better in a cute snowsuit and something lighter in colour.

(I also have a 3mth old DD)

Aw! It wouldn't be my first choice but I think it's lovely that he's bought her something - why should mums get all the fun of clothes buying? I reckon you'll grow to love it because he chose it for her and she'll soon grow out of it anyway.

Just make sure you get in first when she needs a new one Grin

YANBU

I can remember someone asking me in the street if my baby was ill ( as i d taken them out in a plain white sleepsuit )

I wonder now if it was the parent who dressed their child in said fur jacket !

I've got one of these from last year still with tags on if anyone wants it. It's age 0-3 months but it was huge on dd2. By the time it fitted her it was summer.

Pm me if interested. It's just sitting in one of the many black bags of crap dd's old stuff.

Op have you tried it on your dd? I bet she looks adorable in it.
