DP has an inflamed knee.

The hospital gave him crutches this morning.

Now while i accept that this probably smarts a little why can't he get his own fucking beer from the fridge especially when i cooked the dinner.

He has got CRUTCHES ffs.

It's good practice not sure how pain relief and beer mixes though.

Yes, I agree YANBU. Surely it would do him good, a little trip on his crutches to practise.

Perhaps you could decline to get his beer anyway if he is on painkillers (is he?) and/or unsteady due to the crutches. Go and get his "beer" but return with a camomile tea instead. Grin Much better for him Wink

YAB a bit U.

But I only say that as a pregnant woman whose OH has done practically everything for the past 10 weeks.

Same way he should do everything when you are ill. Because you shouldn't be so self centered and have a bit of sympathy and a general desire to help someone you love and live with when they need you.

Its not forever

But that's just me YABU

Aaaaaahhhh he's got a man injury

When my DS (11.6 and man-in-training) sprained his ankle last year, I popped him on the sofa with a cushion under his leg. Had to carry him to the toilet (downstairs loo thank gawd)
He made me a thank you card
Sweet- it stopped me killing him when he managed to limp to the sweet jar Hmm Grin

Well, if it's bad enough for him to be under the hospital for it and for them to give him crutches, it's probably bad enough to deserve a bit of TLC from his wife.

Get him the bloody beer, you unsympathetic mare Grin
