Hi, I'd like to take a few minutes of your time to talk about a condition that really, really, needs widespread recognition.

I'm talking about EDD
Or Empathy Deficit Disorder

Symptoms can include:

1)Believing what you read in the Daily Mail

2)Voting Conservative

3)Posting judgemental shite on parenting forums.

4)Complete inability to step into another's shoes and feel some sympathy for their circumstances.

If you score more than three out of four, you too, may have EDD.

Thanks for reading.

Will I get a free goat?

What is the goat thing about?

I've heard that there are guide goats for people with EDD. Apparently they understand the bleating language they use.

So nice that provision is being made innit?

Unfortunately MadameOvary people keep getting their goats off them, thus exacerbating the EDD

Do you get a pen to keep the goat in? Otherwise it might ruin my lawn, and then I'll have to inform the DM about the injustice of it all...

Thank you, gotolder. Apparently the condition doesn't qualify for any benefits. Apparently it's seen as a "handicap" rather than a "disability".

They import the goats. Goats from abroad, stealing our goats jobs.

Report
MadameOvary · 15/06/2011 15:21

Karbea,
I think it's a bit of a drain on society to have goats if you can't afford to pen them.
Where will we end up if people keep having goats and nowhere to keep them? You can't expect the state to keep providing bigger and bigger pens.

And what to call it? You'll be judged terribly if it's got the wrong name...

Mandy2003 · 15/06/2011 15:22

Oh, I thought the condition was going to be "suffering from bad manners". Oh well.

They are not just goats - they are luxury , free goats and frankly - bigger than they need to be.

I have even seen the goats being led by other members of the family.

Proves they dont need it IMO.

oohlaalaa · 15/06/2011 15:26

Dearie me. It is the hardworking and frugal tax payers, working in private sector with crap pensions, who are paying for all these goats.

I think it quite unfair that you are labeling the goats as THE little bleaters. What about sheep?
I would honestly prefer a sheep not that I am in any way predjudiced against goats, I would just prefer a sheep, and a pen, oh and a shepherd.
_ A big, tough, hairy one, but he must speak well.
