Thats truly awful. I was too scared of the site to browse the other t-shirts.

It's saying single mum's strip to support their kids and the men which pay to watch them strip are supporting them financially

To be fair to that site, it is listed under 'offensive t shirts'. Surprised to hear of it hanging in a shop window though!! Confused

I don't really get the connection either. Looks like the bus made a sudden stop, one's holding onto the pole and the other's fallen on her arse....

Meh....

Then again... £14.99 for a t-shirt? Now that's offensive... :)

gobbledegoop · 08/11/2010 15:49

How is that offensive? Are you a single mum and a pole dancer? If you are, then it's true... if you are not then it's not relevant to you anyway!
Life's too short!

I'm not offended and I'm a single MumConfused

It's meant to be offensive, don't go and credit it be actually being offended.

I'm a single mum and it doesn't offend me but if I saw someone wearing it I would think wanker!

i thought it was slightly funny Blush basically what gobbledegoop said

It is a cheap dig at women and an implication that they are unable to support themselves financially without recourse to selling their bodies. Pretty pathetic really.

cupcakesandbunting · 08/11/2010 16:13

It's pretty funny. I don't know any single mums that support their families by working in a titty bar though.

Agree Reality.

Sometimes on here I can't keep up with what I'm supposed to be offended by.

I'm offended by everyone being offended to be perfectly honest.

It's crap but nobody sane would ever speak to/snog/shag anyone wearing one of those t-shirts. It's a useful visual aid to the quality of the man inside, like grown women wearing Winnie the Pooh.

Oh fuck off it's a joke.

It's a joke that stereotypes single mothers as sex workers. If you can't see what's offensive about that, then frankly you are thick.
