Oodies or similar?

Has anyone got one that's not quite as eye-wateringly expensive?!

I did order two for Christmas last year, but unfortunately had to get a refund as I think Brexit and all the other general crap held them up. Was wondering if now we're a little bit further down the line some cheaper ones are being made!

I'm looking for a couple of 13 year olds as I know they'll love them.

Thanks in advance!

(I don't mind getting the branded ones but thought I might as well ask!)

I have a Sienna from amazon and its very good. Thinner than my (real) oodie but still lovely.

Primark have recently got their own version in stock. Worth having a look in store as you can check the quality and designs

Feel like a bit of doofus now.

Just looked for that one on Amazon @MeredithMae and there's bloody loads!

I got alternative oodies for my kids at Christmas because all the genuine ones were sold out. Then at Easter when they were back in stock I thought I’d replace the cheap ones with the real thing.

All my 3 DC prefer the cheap ones. The proper oodies are a bit too hot and stuffy and have barely been worn. The cheap ones have been used daily!

Do you have a link for the cheaper ones please?
Bobsyer · 16/09/2021 22:01

@TinaYouFatLard that's really interesting!

Mine are the types of kids that are either in their pants or have their hoodies up over their head so I suspect they might be the same!

@Catipepo thanks I am heading into town and we have a huge Primark I will see if they have them.

www.onlinehomeshop.com/loungewear-and-accessories/hoodie-blanket

Online home shop has some £13-£15, I ordered the £13 ones, they are great, very thick and cosy.
Scroll down a bit on the link to get to the Oodie like ones.

Pretty sure primark have just started selling them. They're called 'snuddies' and they're £14

I bought the extra long Sienna for dd this week from there for Christmas . Bloody hell it's amazing. Really really thick and cosy.

I would order one for me but our house runs hot so it's never really cold enough for it.

This is the Sienna I have. It's lovely! The real oodie is thicker and warmer, but the Sienna is very nice too.
