Anyone else get their gas/electric from Utility Point- they've gone bust!

Their email says "We will enter the Supplier of Last Resort (SOLR) process today, Tuesday 14 September at 14:00. "
Apparently PFP Energy went bust last week.
It sounds like they'd sold gas/electric to customers (like me) at a price that is no longer sustainable as energy prices that they pay have shot up.
I'm not sure what happens now.
Anyone else in the same boat?

we were with Money Plus through the LookAfterMyBills people and had an email about them going bust this week

LAMB have been spectacularly unhelpful, it doesn't help that we are moving in a month, but dh has told them to shove it and has gone with British gas, (for the electric) for the new house.

So we have to wait and see if we're in credit/debit with them and take it from there.

I've had the same email as I'm also with UP. The email doesn't actually say what we have to do next so I'm hoping someone will come along with an answer!
I used Look After My Bills so maybe they'll transfer me to another company?

Also, what happens to the money I was in credit by? Do I have to say goodbye to that? It was about £400 😭

Not sure this will work but you can google it!

General consensus seems to be sit tight.

Update: Ofgem has appointed EDF Energy to take on Utility Point's customers. If you're with Utility Point, your current tariff will end and you'll be moved onto a new tariff with EDF – which is priced at the same rate as its standard variable tariff.

EDF will be in touch in the coming days about your new tariff. If you want to switch, regulator Ofgem is advising customers to wait until EDF has been in touch to let them know the transfer has completed. Once it has, you can switch away penalty-free.
Ofgem has yet to announce who will take on People's Energy customers – we'll update this story when it is confirmed

EDF energy were apparently meant to complete the migration by 9th October, but they haven’t. So, like many thousands I am receiving gas and electricity and yet I have no idea how much I am paying per unit. I have spent some time calling them today and they couldn’t be more unhelpful if they tried. They have no idea when the migration will be completed, cannot tell me how much I will be paying and just kept thanking me for being understanding - I told them I am not understanding at all!! I can’t help thinking that dragging this out forces customers like me to pay much, much more following the increase on 1st October. I foresaw this scenario and transferred to BG as they were £30 a month cheaper compared to EDF but I suspect I am ‘lost’ in the system. I cannot think of another scenario where I am receiving a service for which I have no idea of the cost. Is anyone else experiencing the same? The lack of information is appalling, the delay is unacceptable given that it’s 2021 and the technology exists! I am so frustrated, and angry, that this can be considered acceptable by anyone within the industry. Where is the accountability?
