And not a proverb or quote or anything, but I generally just have the idea floating around my head that we’re all going to die soon and we’re tiny tiny tiny bugs in the universe so nothing really matters, let’s have fun. Can be depressing if you dwell on that too much though 🤣

'If you can't get out of it, get into it.' In other words if there's something you can't avoid (like housework), you might as well find a way of making it more pleasant, or trying to find something enjoyable about it.
