Gift Wrap/Gift Bags/Gift Boxes

I'm stealthily working through my present buying and I've got all my DD Beauty Advent Calender items (just got 5 to wrap) , using those Lakeland clear bags , tissue paper , ribbon and I have adhesive numbers.

If I use wrapping paper , it;s cheaper , I can use the off cuts for smaller presents, DD and DS can have their 'own' colour /pattern.

Bags are simpler , bit of tissue , pop them in, done (but easier for them to peek)

Boxes are £ and take up more room (plus I never want to throw them out). Most of the designs are a bit meh .

And if I run out of bags and boxes , I'll need to order more .

I;m talking myself into wrapping paper and a night in front of the TV Xmas Grin

I do wrapping paper - a colour/pattern for each DC BUT I am happy to use an occasional box for awkwardly shaped presents. I currently have 3 lidded boxes in different sizes that have been used for the last 4 years and stored in my ottoman in between. I don't like bags as much - more peeking opportunities and they seem a bit insubstantial compared to the boxes.

We do wrapping paper. Each DD gets their own colour/design. I’m lazy and don’t ‘do’ labels - well I don’t actually wrap hate it with a passion DH does. I buy paper that is coordinated but each person - we only buy for and wrap for 3 grandparents - gets a roll each and that’s their paper.

I like to make my own bags out of wrapping paper especially for weird shaped gifts, or lots of small bits. I make loads of these every Christmas. They're really quick and they look lovely under the tree. The picture isn't mine, but mine look just as good! Instructions are here: www.gifts.com/blog/how-to-make-a-gift-bag-out-of-wrapping-paper

I do a mixture of wrapping paper, bags and boxes. I save any decent packaging I get from the high street/online and I reuse.

I don't have a colour scheme though, I like to see a mixture of colour and patterns under our tree
