Where can I get a tree skirt?

I've tried all the usual online places, JL, M&S etc but no joy. Have tried eBay but they're mostly red and my living room/tree colours are white, silver and teal. Any other suggestions? Ta very much.

Oh lawks I was going to say Clothkits, but you don't mean a skirt with a tree print

theladylovescupcakes · 10/12/2012 16:01

Eh, no. But thanks!

Honalulu? Xmas Grin

Fadingfast · 10/12/2012 16:31

My Mum bought a big piece of dark green fleece fabric, cut a large circle with a small circle in the middle, joined by a cut (so you can wrap it around tree stand). Works really well as it is, or you can embellish it if you can be arsed. Felt also works if you can't get fleece!

I've seen that on t'internet, Fadingfast. I'm not terribly crafty, unfortunately! Seem to have left it terribly last minute, haven't I?

Not for the wide of calves.

nippysweetie82 · 10/12/2012 17:05

Have you tried Amazon?

AngryFeet · 10/12/2012 17:07

Loads on ebay. Or if you have a garden centre near you they usually have them in the xmas decs section.

PoppyAmex · 10/12/2012 17:09

Saw some on BQ website

Fadingfast · 10/12/2012 20:52

Really it requires absolutely no skill whatsoever. Just a piece of fabric and a pair of scissors. No sewing or hemming required! Takes about 5 minutes.

theladylovescupcakes · 10/12/2012 20:56

Tried Amazon, also local B&Q and Homebase today - nada. Off to swanky expensive garden centre tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

We bought one from The Range.

Binfullofgibletsonthe26th · 10/12/2012 21:05

I have a similar color scheme. I'm going to drape a white idea fleece around the tree, like a snowy blanket Xmas Grin

Once it's covered with presents it won't resemble anything!

theladylovescupcakes · 10/12/2012 22:18

Just been on eBay - think I might try to make my own! Found some blue felt and die cut snowflakes.... Wish me luck!

Ditto The Range

theladylovescupcakes · 10/12/2012 22:47

Had a look at the Range too - looks fab, but no tree skirts.

As an aside, I have just swooned as MNHQ have just commented on my thread..... [thud]

I've just been to The Range. They have no less than EIGHT different types of tree skirts.

Making your own is easy though.

theladylovescupcakes · 11/12/2012 20:24

No Range near me so have to rely on tree-skirtless website Xmas Smile. I am actually quite excited about the prospect of making my own one!

Ohh, I've never heard of The Range....and I need a tree skirt!
