Tatchell had a lot to say about the Oxfordshire JR on RT news yesterday and this is the safe schools alliance response to him. He said girls need to get over their embarrassment of their bodies and that big money from anti trans groups was funding the JR.

Just watched all the way through.

Fucking hell...

Girls feeling uncomfortable with their own bodies due to puberty etc- tough, they have to deal with it. But the narrative for ‘trans’ children who are uncomfortable with their own bodies is affirmation leading to experimentation, medication, surgery and sterilisation.

Who gives a shit about safeguarding??

Now he’s on about girls being bullies too. Similar to the abusive lesbian trope - therefore men / boys should be allowed in to watch girls undress because a (very few) women / girls are safeguarding risks.

Who gives a shit about safeguarding, dignity and privacy?

What a fucking WANKER.

Tatchell and J Epstein are two sides of the same coin. Both advocating sex with minors as normal. Their arguments all have a "scientific" pedigree thanks to Kinsey. Sarah Goode on the subject. Watch from 40 mins to hear the tie in with Kinsey's theories (the whole podcast is really informative if you have the time to watch).

I saw Peter Tatchell speak once. Boring as shit but that's another matter.

A childless, gay man. Yet - writes to paper to advocate that sex between children and adults isn't harmful. Last year the 'Peter Tatchell Foundation' issued a report lobbying government to include lessons for children on masturbation, and sex techniques to be given to mixed classes of teenagers. Now he is advocating that girls should just 'get over' their inhibitions about being naked in front of teenage boys.

There is a common, and creepy, theme here which has nothing to do with human rights.

Oh, and he also was on TV last year saying that women should just be 'kind' to transwomen who want to enter womens sports.

Either he isn't a human rights campaigner or he doesn't recognise women as human.

"we need to challenge those who feel uncomfortable, to make them feel comfortable in their own bodies, and around the bodies of others, to enable them not to feel embarrassed or threatened or ashamed".

Well I’m fairly sure that saying that is akin to trans conversion therapy. Unless of course he means that everyone trans or not should be immediately offered medical treatment to make them comfortable in their body. So I dunno, cosmetic surgery for all, face, body, breasts, genitals.

How about making it a hate crime to make anyone uncomfortable by staring at or commenting on their body? oh no that’s ridiculous, not anyone, only a particular set of people are protected like that. The answer for the unprotected majority is to challenge the uncomfortable person, make them guilty of wrong think, deny them privacy and dignity, make them solely responsible for their response and require them to do emotional labour to get over it.

No equality. No safeguarding. Grooming. Misogyny.

Peter Tatchell showing total mind blindness. He is only looking at this from his own head. He has no sexual interest in looking at women and girls so it is irrelevant. He knows people who claimed that they were not harmed when they were child victims of sexual offences committed by adults so it’s not a problem.

He is given platforms to convey these opinions.

Is he quite alright? He is demonstrating such amazing narrow sightedness and a lack of critical thinking.

That quote is extraordinary. I had heard something about him excusing paedophilia - I had thought it would be some form of minimising or brushing it aside. That actually sounds like he's advocating for it. And he's still quoted, respected, invited on chat shows - he TALKS IN SCHOOLS????

Are the schools quite aware that he says 9 year olds can find sex with adults 'joyful'?

Does nobody have any idea of consent, informed consent and safeguarding any more?

What on earth is going on?

I'm not lesbian but I was particularly shocked that a noted gay rights campaigner should claim that lesbians are a danger to other women. I haven't lived a particularly sheltered life, but no lesbian ever has ever tried to sexually assault me.

So one of the things his foundation offers is

www.petertatchellfoundation.org/education-in-human-rights/

Apparently covers the specific human rights of women. I’d be interested to know what his foundation covers.

The right to be a womb for hire perhaps.
