Reading the book you guessed was my initial thought too but I wasn’t quite sure it fitted so I pondered it for a while, then had a flash of inspiration and I actually think it’s something much more recent.* Which is what I put as my answer. Who knows when we will find out.*

The lightning one is an image from an award-winning book this year.

I guessed an Enid Blyton book for the email clue. Not sure if it’s right, but that’s what the clue suggested to me.

Finally got the email with a link to the extra clue, and I think I know what it is. Shame you don't find out right away of you're right or not, as I'll more than likely forget all about it within a day or so :)
