For the last couple of weeks, I have been having an ongoing battle with my 5.5 mo daughter. She is on average taking half her bottle (about 3-4 oz) on each feed. She will sometimes finish the bottle if I give her a 20 minute break in the middle of a feed.
I have just started giving her solids as she is reaching for everything on my plate, and is also shoving everything in her mouth she can lay her hands on! The only thing she will happily eat so far is banana baby rice - tried her on butternut squash, apple and carrot all of which she turned her nose up at.
Took her to be weighed last week and she has lost a couple of ounces, but still seems happy. Help!! Worried she isn't getting enough food, and whilst I'm not forcing food on her, she still needs to eat. Anyone else been through a similar experience? Could do with some reassurance
