Why is mini pasta everywhere, except when you're weaning a baby?

Seriously, the Italian deli round the corner sells loads of mini pasta shapes - stars, letters. Made by De Cecco. No more or less expensive than other pasta.

tell us more about the wonderful world of veggie farming, ginge. dh used to work in a ribena factory. bad men used to piss in the blackcurrants when they couldn't be arsed going all the way to the loo...

Taste free too - made some, chucked it, made Dd some proper food. She wolfed it down.

Mind you she'd have eaten the plate it was served on given half the chance so she probably would have given the mush a go had I put it in front of her.

You don't mean Annabel Carmels' baby Pasta sold in Boots? It's wheat free, y'know.

gingeme - no wonder DD goes for the catfood every time!

Oooh we gave her porridge in a bowl for the first time today, it was HILARIOUS - picked the bowl up, slurped it like soup, then grabbed the cat - the cat was mortified (and sticky!)

Yes that whole statement is shite because I used to work in a vegetable factory( twas dead exciting) not and we used to empty loads of bags of potatoes into a great big wooden box. They were all rotten and soft. I asked the line manager where they were headed for and hes said baby food companies
