I've had a great half term but since Tuesday I have felt guilty about not doing the work I need to do before Monday. Now I am going to have to get up early tomorrow and Sunday to get it done.

Will anyone else be working so I don't feel so lonely?

My HT seemed fine as she left - I feel more cross than upset over it now. I just can't see what was wrong with the lesson. I haven't had the written feedback yet and will be interested to read that. (And probably pissed off too ....)
Glad your observation went well AntiJamDidi - good luck with the feedback. That's a long time to wait!

It is a long time to wait isn't it? I get almost as nervous about the feedback as I do about the lesson. I have the niggling fear that people will have seen through my disguise and realise that I'm actually a bit rubbish Blush I know in my head that I push the kids to get good results but in the pit of my stomach I am constantly worried someone is about to rumble me.

I hope your written feedback sheds some light on what they're looking for, sometimes it's something really obscure that they think went badly.

Thank you - yes, the written feedback will be enlightening I hope.
I'm still marking now and feel like saying sod it, but it's not fair on my class.

I don't blame you petal. I have just said the same. I too have in theory another 20 years of this although in reality when DS2 leaves SS in 10 years I will have to be a full time carer. I used to enjoy teachingHmm

I still enjoy lots about teaching but the data crunching, observations and unreasonable stresses are hideous.
