Telly addicts

This episode is a legend. I've told people about it before and they didn't believe me. I was on the phone to dh at the time and nearly offered to tape it for him! Great stuff!
Kids ask about poo - it makes sense to answer their questions in a way that just makes it a matter of fact part of life rather than relegating it to (literally) toilet humour.

ds does now know all about sewage, as he helpfully filled me in on the bits I missed. So I can tick that one off the list!
I do love this programme, it's my favourite of all, don't know how this episode had passed me by. DH spoils it somewhat by saying things like 'you never see her getting air traffic clearance' though.

pmsl...............dp sat with me and dd1 this morning and said OMG I bet they'll be posting about this on mumsnet later.........how right he was.
Also said isnt it strange that everyone knows Aunty and she is let in to areas that no one else is allowed "seeing as its you aunty".
He also comments that she's not realy flying that plane etc etc etc.

Agree it has educational value but it's the 'can you see your poo Pippin?' and the fact that we have to watch a big turd being flushed down the loo!
I know it's normal but I don't want to see it over my cheese butties!!!
BTW - I do quite like the programme though - I love it when they go to factories and show you how they put the stripes in toothpaste etc and the one about the post where they follow Auntie Mabel's letter is quite good (except that she goes with them all the way back to Dora's house rendering the letter pointless!).

I quite enjoyed that episode of Come Outside and d1 finds it fascinating to see what happens to the poo....
but I couldn't believe that anyone would put DOG poo down their toilet. It makes me feel ill just thinking about it.
But given the other choice, which would be seeing Aunties poo in the toilet, I guess the producers went for the better option there!
