It shouldn't be this hard to find a dress! Where else should I try.

Want a new dress for mates 26th Birthday night out. Not black, maybe purple/blue. Not with high neckline due to norks (34DD), will happily wear boob tube stlye but prefer scoop/square neck. V neck can be dody if it's a cross V neck IYKWIM?

Have tried, River Island, Top Shop, FC, House of F, debenhams,Miss S, Dorothy P.

Am 5ft 2, size 12ish don't mind getting my legs out but nothing below the knee. Will be blonde, hazel eyes, fair skin.

HELP, what am I forgetting?!!! Don't have tome to shop properly so trying to a online reccy so can whizz around shops.

Budget (cheap as poss) but £100 max.

Hmm thanks for the links am still not convinced!

Clure, really like the one shoulder one, will have to try it on but normally one shoulder loks stupid on me and make my shoulders look bigger? The coast one is too formal and way too much satin, the coast drape one will make me look pregnant, not keen on the blue black body con £150 coat one - reminds me of a superhero for some reason? Ted Baker one, nice but boring? Will add it to my "try on" list though.

AlaskaNebraska Wallis is really weird at the mo, they actually have some nice stuff which I wasn't expecting! The first one ticks all the boxes, but I just don't like it? It's a bit boring I think? Like a fall back dress? The 2nd one, the neckline is too high for me. Same for the third one

tethersend Cowl neck one would look silly one due to boobs I think? Lace one I like but again fear the high neckline would make boobs melt into tummy. The V ponte dress is really nice (and cheap!) But reminds me of office wear? The oasis shift dress would make me look massive and is a bit shiney. The last one, the tulip dress I like - but if I wear white on my boobs it makes them look even bigger and also white doesn't suit me! And not sure how my large thighs would fare in the style skirt.

ruddynorah What is this madness a £6 dress? How many small children were harmed during the mkaing of that dress I wonder?

Luckily my moral compass is dodgy when it comes to emergency dress shopping. The sequin one - am not convonved I can do sequins?! Metallic dress is a bit shiney. The last one is realy nice but not very glam? And think my bobs (the sides of) would be exposed. Adding it to the short list though.

On that boohoo site there are a few I like but am not sure if it's cos I'm really desperate to find something now. What do you all make of:

this in pink Cheap looking? Maybe a bit too formal looking??

this in purple Office looking?

this too high a neck line and a bit slutty?

I do realsie none of these are in the colopurs specified! I just meant purple/blue shades are my colours and ideally a dress in that coulour would be grand!

K I'm back was babysitting and had to drive home.

Had a look on 78 pages of shopstyle (thanks used2bthin and momijigari) and nothing really there . Eveything is either too plain or too much like a christmas bauble!

Snufflebufty I already have a dress similar to that but not in Satin, but you reminded me of New Look so will have a nose in there.

Katymac than Bon Prix site looks interesting will have a nosey.

momijigari you EMily and fin link goes back to the oasis oragami dress? Is that meant to happen? But I think I like the style fo the lipsy dress you link too. Bt sequins? Can I do sequins? Wont I need Bruce Forsyth on my arm to pull that look off? Trolly Dolly nice but not very dressy.

RubyrubyrubyScaryBin that's nice but too daytimey for me. Just saw it on ebay too for £22 so going to get it for the winter! Thanks for that.

pipWereRabbit it's just soooo boring? It's also a bit formal I think? looked all through House of F but can't find a thing.

adriennemole that is a lovely shape, just what I need reall but it's a bit plain? Not sure what else I want really. ARGH!

Here are some I have shortlisted....

like style not keen on colour

good shape but not sure on colou/pattern?

like the lipsy one linked too not sure about sequins

so boring and dull but good shape

Is it too much to ask?? Wish I could sew and create my own stuff!

I have this dress which is very flattering (and pretty good quality for the price) I am a size 10 with 32 E norks and worn with a balconette bra it gives a subltle cleaveage as opposed to full on chest arse The belt is a bit distracting and makes a lovely dress look a bit tarty IMO but this isn't included anyway.

ohhh herjazz that's a lovely site I love these sorts of dresses but they aren't very me if that makes sense?

But this is bloody lovely (think would be too low on my boobs though) and the raffetta dress is also lovely. Just not what I'm looking for for this night out.

Hmm I'm annoying myself now.

People always post links to this site which has loads of different shops all together but can't find it now.

yesss I was thinking about that one too. Have just the shoes for that as well.

Alas MUCH more of a problem for saggy double a's than boobs that are frothing out of it!

Best of luck with yr hunting. I'd just go to tk maxx if all else fails
