Do you still use your mulberry Bayswater?

Having a sort out and might start using mine again but wondering if they look a bit dated now? I always thought they were a classic! It’s very old but in excellent condition.

I saw this mulberry on a very chic woman at the train station this week and I think it's a Bayswater. I took a photo as I wanted to be able to look it up! I thought paired with a simple wool coat, straight leg jeans and trainers it looked very chic. Interesting to hear others think it's a dated bag.

It’s a small zipped Bayswater - much prefer my zipped bays to my classic one.

@Toottooot ah thank you! I wonder why it's called small, it's quite a big bag Grin

Sooo you have all convinced me to actually get one. Will check out vinted as sooo many people are getting rid of theirs.

Jellycats4life · 27/06/2023 17:03

I don’t think they’re dated because the design is simple, clean lines etc.

Ive been tempted to send mine back to Mulberry for repairs because they do that now. But it’s an expensive service and there’s not too much wrong with mine. It’s just softened up a lot over the years.

I think they’re lovely and always admire them

Does anyone have an Effie crossbody bag? I’m wondering how it sits when you’re wearing it.

Reading this has inspired me to dig mine out! Not sure it really goes with my look anymore (frazzled mum of a 6 month old wearing permanent athleisure 😂) but I aspire to be that willowy lady in a wool coat further up thread. Plus it has loads more room as a changing bag than the kanken mini I'm currently cramming everything into.

I bought one last month in pink and I love it. It's great for days when I need to bring snacks or a laptop or if I plan on picking up some shopping.

sadly I tripped whilst carrying it and the lovely pink leather got scuffed. I got the worst of the mark out and it's in an inconspicuous place so it's still lovely and useable but it will certainly reduce any resale value - so I'd better keep it!

@Isabelle70 Thank you! I have managed to snag myself a classic one in tan. Love it 😊

@Jewels14 perfect 🤩 I don't use mine so much now but I will never get rid of it. It's a great workhorse.
