Is this the new fashion? And more importantly, will it help my mum tum?!

When I was young I was so thin I could tuck a big chunky jumper into jeans and still look good. Now, the idea of tucking anything in fills me with horror and everything is so tight at the moment it would be impossible

I tuck t-shirts into big skirts and wide linen culottes, which is basically my summer uniform.

I don't tuck into the mini skirts with tights I wear in winter, they're fitted so the top needs to be big and floaty to offset them!

I don't wear trousers or jeans, I've never found any cut to the same shape as me (I'm a 10-12 but clearly a weirdly shaped one)

French tuck is what we used to do with our polo shirts in secondary school. Not a good look. I do tuck, but depends what I'm wearing. Most of my tops are cropped so too short to tuck, but I wear body suits so that's the same as a tuck. Jeans are so flattering and really show off your shape, no point in hiding that under a big Willowing top.

Yes been tucking in for quite a while as it suits me so am delighted to now be in fashion 😀 Loose trousers/jeans with a long untucked top is universally unflattering. I am too old for proper crop tops but got some short boxy tshirts from Uniqlo the other day which also look good and in proportion.

I’ve just discovered the French tuck. It’s been a revelation

Agree with PP - you have to be slim to get away with skinnies and tucked in tops, but luckily with modern shaped jeans and trousers the tucked in look is much easier to pull off, even if you are a bit bigger.

I like the French Tuck.

All the young people do and don't worry about bug tummies ( I work with a a lot ) .. I'm hourglass and have always tucked in , it's much more flattering if you have a waist !

So much has been in fashion over the last few years that would have seen you bullied in the past.
Top button done up,
Tucked in
Rucksack on both shoulders.

And don’t even start on slippers and socks!

Yes, so Simon Cowell is fashionable 20 years down the line.

I only really wear jeans but I tuck in now. Got lots of high waisted jeans. Waiting for these beauties to arrive soon!

So, are we tucking everything in now?

It doesn’t suit me. I’ve got a short body so if I tuck something in to a high waist I just get the bow then the boobs with no gap.

It was paper bag shorts with a huge gathered waist that made me realise I was supposed to be tucking in.

I love it!! Have a good waist but huge hips so it really works for my shape.

I do a half tuck. If you have a spare tyre you need to switch to a higher waist though, otherwise the tucking just highlights it nicely. (I have a spare tyre, I’m not just being an arse)

Yep, love it. I’ve gone full nineties today with some wide leg lee jeans with a high waist. Sadly, I’ve a face like a bag of spanner’s, so can’t carry a crop top without looking absolutely mad, so tucked in is a happy compromise.

'We' might but i do not. Why would i want to advertise my rolls of flab? Plus the French tuck is such a nonsense. Like you could not decide if you want your top in or out or are still waiting for your friends' comments.

No tuck in here. No high waist here.

Aren’t we supposed to be just tucking 25% now? 😳

I can't with jeans, but wide leg trousers or skirts maybe. Never seen the French tuck look good on anyone in real life though, seems to be something only models can get away with.

No sure but I always tuck, at the very least partially. I feel a bit frumpy if I don't as I wear a lot of loose oversized shirts and jumpers (always roll the sleeves up a bit and tuck into jeans). Otherwise tight vest tops tucked in with a loose fit shirt open over the the top as a sort of jacket. Something is always tucked though.

I've been tucking my top in for a while clothes permitting, I don't tuck a shirt into my leggings.

Don't like the French tuck.

Love to tuck, but never in jeans for me. Too much tummy. It just looks odd.

I will tuck into skirts though or big, wide leg trousers. It's actually really flattering.
