Looking to buy something special for a relatives 40th birthday.

Have bought her one every year since her 12th birthday as a silly tradition and wanted something more than the run of the mill.

If I was going for packaging alone, perhaps Tom Ford?

Why just the packaging. It's brilliant mascara - I've been repeat buying for years.

Thank you all . Lots of great suggestions. Off to John Lewis today (while we can!) to buy the Dior one as I think she will like the brand at least .

I might even pick another one of them for myself :)

Better than Sex by Too Faced or their Damn Girl. The packaging on the BTS is better

Chantecaille Faux Cils Longest Lash. It looks amazing and has growth serum in it.

Blinc tubing mascara! My absolute favourite but too expensive for everyday because it gets quite thick/sludgy in the tube after 7 or 8 weeks. So good though, and doesn't flake or budge but washes off easily with warm water.

Let’s be honest it has to be MAC in my opinion.
You can’t go wrong.

I've just been involved in product testing Fenty's Full Frontal Volume, Lift and Curl and I have found my forever mascara 😍

It's around £21 so maybe not as high end as you were looking for, but it's fabulous!

I second the Dior.

The Lancôme hypnose is an industry cult classic.

However I really love benefit roller lash! It’s not the most luxury mascara but it’s very good.

If I was going for packaging alone, perhaps Tom Ford?

If price isn’t an issue, you would go all out with this one:

Lancôme hypnose is the best

When I wear mascara which is rare I always use Lancombe. It's the best.

We have had the EL double wear and I returned a Chanel one that was supposed to be waterproof but wasn’t so won’t go for these two .

Not tried Givenchy so that’s on the shortlist too .
Thank you .
