Thanks @cinammonbuns. I've actually gone ahead and ordered Vichy Ideal Soleil Mattifying Face Dry Touch Sun Cream SPF50 as @Needmoremummyjuice recommended since it was 25% off and had lots of great reviews.

Me neither, there is a translate button. Go on the website and click the symbol next to the search bar and the whole site will be translated into English. I like it because I can get the big size (85g) for about £20.

Vichy Ideal Soleil Mattifying Face Dry Touch Sun Cream SPF50
Great by itself or under make up and currently 25% off in boots

Neutrogena city shield it's got an SPF 25 in it, very light, absorbs easily and you can put make up on afterwards without it piling.

@namechange8765422 I bought from timeless uk which was recommended as a genuine source by mumsnetters. It cost £19.99

@cinammonbuns God I am so old. What the fuck is depop?? I have googled it and looked at their website. I have even read the blurb that tries to directly answer me as to what they are. I still have no idea.

Thank you for those suggestions though. I have tried the amazon.jp website but I unfortunately don't speak or read the language.

@namechange8765422 I buy it directly from amazon.jp (japan version of amazon) which takes a few weeks but is worth it. Or if I’m in a rush I buy it from a depop seller who buys directly from japan. Because then it only takes a few days.

(I'd like to buy some too, hence asking)

@Snog - with PPs saying avoid the fake ones, how did you know yours wasn't fake?

Another Ultrasun fan here. I like the tinted anti pigment one.

Biore has arrived - it's so super light I can hardly believe it will work!

Another vote for Clinique SPF40

With the Biore - how do you know if what you're ordering is fake or genuine? I'd like to try it.

Many thanks everyone, I'm going to try the Biore - have ordered from timeless uk so hopefully will be the genuine stuff!

If you know anyone with a Telegraph subscription, they did a round of favourite sun screens yesterday I think. It's on the website. Some alternatives to the Biore, which I also swear by.

I used to use the Body Shop one linked to, but wont buy from them now after their treatment of J K Rowling. This time I tried Biore Watery Essence and I love it. Am also a bit concerned about fakes, so if anyone has a reasonable priced legit site to buy from, that'd be great. Also really like the La Roche Posay one, Ultrasun gives me spots (and I never normally get spots).

my dermatologist recommended neutrogena dry touch 80+, maybe a bit overboard but I like it so far, and quite cheap too. I has a drop of liquid bronzer from drunk elephant to battle the white

I love Biore watery essence but I am worried about ending up with a fake, so this time I bought La Roche Posay Anthelios super-light. I don't think it's as great as the Biore one, but its not bad.

My last one was from amazon and I think it’s fine but that thread last week worried me where someone had got a fake.

I agree but I've bought it off the same site on Amazon, delivered from Japan, for 3 years and my face doesn't burn or get lumpy and I burn very easily and get nasty lumpy spots with other facial sunscreens

Think you’re supposed to put it on first. I’ve given up on make up so only use this.

Beware of fakes on amazon.

There was a thread here last week which recommended a website to buy it on but I can’t remember the website.
