Converse no longer comfy. What can I wear instead?

I'm on my 3rd pair of silver converse. I love them, they go with everything. But I'm finding that they're not supportive enough and they're feeling too narrow.
What can you recommend as a replacement? I have wide feet, and am comfiest in Birkies, but soon it will be cold and rainy!

YY Superga. I find them slightly generous for size - I'm generally an 8.5-9 but a Spuerga 8 is perfect. I've lived in them all summer.

These Vans are nice

Beautiful petrol blue colour. But couldn't find silver, and I do need silver.

No use for the wider of feet, but if arch support/cushioning is the issue, I am very pleased with my Taylored for Taylors insoles.

I am a 6 too but they have weird half sizes so you are best go and try them on.my feet are narrow so I get 38.5.

Superga here as well-all I've worn for about 8 years. Love them. Cut lower on the foot too so look better than converse with shorts and skirts.

Vans? Vans are more cushioned. Super comfy.

I have same problem with converse but find the vans better

Those Adidas ones are lovely! Spoilt for choice! Can I justify silver Supergas, black or red Gazelles, and a pair of sketchers? It will be my birthday soon.

I'm too late! But I recently bought a pair of Adidas gazelle and love them. Also have wide feet Also have some skechers which are super comfy but don't really match too many things

Thanks everyone.
Supergas have the look I want, and in silver, though I am also tempted by some of the trainers!
Does anyone know what the Superga sizing is like? - I am a 6/39 in most brands, but quite wide.

Another vote for sketchers memory foam. I resent having anything else on my feet now

Shoes not shows!

I have a pair of sketchers and they are really comfortable but I find them a bit too chunky looking for my legs lol. I know some people might disagree but Hotters is actually quite good. Especially the memory foam ones. I've worn them all day for work everyday and my feet never ached (I have terrible feet) and they lasted ages. They also do canvas type shows as well.

Classic Toms are NOT GOOD in the rain! They are (mostly) canvas, plus they have no grips on the bottom so get very slippy.

My Paseos (similar to these) are better in the rain. Similar to Converse.

I'm a size 8 and find them true to size if not slightly roomy, especially the jazzing style. They're wider at the toes unlike converse which I find go narrower.

Oh, I like the rocketdog ones - what's the sizing like on them?

Agree with reactiv too about sketchers. I have a few pairs and they're like walking in clouds.

Mine are laceup. I have the jazzin and campo styles. Both super comfy. Check out the website for the styles

However I'd checkout soletrader outlet and mandala direct for good deals on them. I've also had vans from both sites which are dead comfy too.

New Balance, though I stay in Birkenstocks for as long as I can.

Skechers memory foam are by far the best thing i have ever bought. Not so sure they're the type of style you'd want though? I have three pairs.

I don't know if you've seen these orthopaedic insoles for converse?

I haven't personally used them but think I may need them soon as starting to need a bit more support.

Thanks for the input.
Will check out Superga, they have the look I'm after.
Frikadela are the Rocketdog pumps lace up or ballerina style? I'd like something I can wear with socks.
I've not tried Toms, but wondering are they all canvas? And if so, how do they react to rain?
