Bearing in mind that it's quite cool here, cool on the plane and and in the 30's at destination?

Pacific, the photo is from the Hush website.

I'm a not confused as to how anyone gets their jumpsuit on the floor? Surely you just wiggle it down and keep it round your knees, and I'm not particularly svelte either!

Just for comfort it would be a jersey maxidress, big soft cardigan, scarf to double up as blanket, sliders (with big socks in a bag)

Another one boggling at a jumpsuit on a plane - you'll have to take it off and it will all drag along the piss soaked toilet floor. Just no.

Cotton maxi dress with leggings under and jumper over. Dispense with leggings and jumper before you land (bonus points for doing so while seated). Has the added advantage of no waistband to dig in while you're trying to get comfy on the plane. And flat shoes. Cannot understand people flying in heels unless they are doing there and straight back for work.

I'd wear soft plain palazzo pants (compression socks underneath) with a vest and a soft loose jersey top over it with a cashmere pashmina and ballet pumps or wedges you can slip on or off.

Plane loos are always vile by the end of a long haul flight.

I would never wear a maxi skirt, flip flops or any such thing Shock.

A jumpsuit? Confused
How on earth do you contort yourself enough to get it off in order to do a wee in a tiny airplane toilet?

I'm clearly doing it all wrong Grin

Burnished, I'd love to know where those trousers were from too Smile

I'm always boiling hot on planes. We're going away in July to a hot place. I'm wearing a sleeveless navy dress with a hot pink cardi and hessian Tom's on my feet. No leggings or tights. Kids will be in shorts and tshirts and Crocs as they find planes hot, too.

I always like to turn up glam to the airport even if I'm on easy jet lol Grin
On my recent flight to HKG I took comfy joggers, a stretchy shirt warm hoody.
Got changed after I'd eaten then 30 mins before landing I wash, re apply make up clean my teeth and change back into my heels & outfit Smile

Sandy - I love jumpsuits and I agree they are super comfy but the one thing I would say, having had this issue myself when on trains (because I'm wearing them a lot for work this summer) is that it's a bigger going to the loo in a small space. And plane toilets are tiny. And even if you are in business, you may well be using the economy toilets (certainly on virgin planes there is no difference between the economy and upper class toilets). And towards the end of a long haul flight the toilets can get a bit...unpleasant. I'm not sure I would want to be getting out of a jumpsuit sufficiently to use the facilities in that sort of environment (also it would be WELL chilly).

DD suggested I wear the usual yoga pants on the flight and have a tube skirt rolled up in my hand luggage for the meeting.

But then I would need to wear the right top and sandals for the meeting which would look odd with yoga pants Confused. Though I suppose what I look like on the plane doesn't matter.

I tend to wear comfortable clothes and take layers and a warm jumper plus warm socks to put on the plane.
A warm scarf also helps. :)

I always wear what I like to the airport and change into leggings, tshirt, sox and cardi and a pashmina. I also do a facial on a long haul flight. Just before touch down I either change back into what I was wearing (depending on the weather either end) or pack some shorts and wear those. I always take clean knickers as I find changing those redoing makeup cleaning teeth makes me feel refreshed.

I'm going on a long haul flight next week and am going to wear this jumpsuit I bought with a cardigan. Normally it would be leggings and a t-shirt but I bought this to wear whilst on holiday and it's so comfy I thought I may as well wear it for the flight and save a bit of precious luggage space.

What would you wear on a 12 hr flight?

I actually wore dungarees when I flew to oslo this week (only a short flight obviously) because my preferred jeans were in the wash. Big mistake. BIG mistake. HUGE. The metal on the strappy bits set off the thing, and they were up to 90 at T5 on Monday morning anyway (don't know why, possibly because of Orlando, possibly some other thing had raised their threat level but they were definitely more gung ho than usual) - I felt like a complete numpty for wearing something that a few minutes of thought would have told me was going to be an issue. Sigh. They were v comfy to fly in though so...

I find if I wear anything with pockets, I end up leaving something metal in them and getting frisked at the airport Blush.

Jeans. I always wear my skinnies when I'm flying, unless I'm going straight to a meeting from the airport or have come straight from a meeting to the airport. Skinnies and a T, plus a cardy or hoody to wrap up in if it gets chilly (which it usually does). I wore my skinnies flying to Nairobi and Sao Paulo last year, both flights approx 12 hours. They are just the most comfy thing to wear. And the most practical thing to be wearing during all the faff in the airport beforehand (and after).
