Waterproof, warm and flattering winter coat

Any ideas? It doesn't have to be smart - "practical but attractive" is more what I'm after (and it must be long enough to cover my bum!).

I liked the look of the Didriksons "Taylor" coat (recommended on threads here a whole back) but sadly it seems they don't make it any more.

Any suggestions?

Yes it's lined in a Burberry looking material that you can see on the cuffs and hood. It really is a lovely coat well-made coat and looks far more expensive!

I have just picked up the Portwest Ava coat. It's waterproof, warm, covers bum, flattering and stylish. Look on Horse and Hoof website for better shots. It's £88 but I picked one up yesterday in the sale for £19.99 from The Range of all places!

Thanks all. I'm liking the look of the seasalt ones, especially the jannelle. I had wondered whether seasalt coats would be warm enough but it seems like you guys think so. Thanks!

Boden mac is great for chilly autumn days but it's showerproof at best. For proper winter days I have the Seasalt Janelle for when it's raining and a parka from next that has a removable fur lining for cold but dry days. I feel the cold badly and walk to work so I need really warm coats.

I love my Seasalt Plant Hunter. I walked home in the heavy rain earlier this week and it kept me completely dry.

Last year I bought a Marmot Chelsea. Bloody love it. Look out for discounts though. Mine was abou £100 off at Go Outdoors.

Just had a look and it is very pretty! Is is properly waterproof rather than just showerproof though? And warm enough for a really cold winter day?
