What's the sizing like with Lindybop?

Thinking of getting one of the Ophelia dresses for a party I've got coming up.

I've seen them mentioned on here a few times and was wondering if anybody had any advice on what size to go for - do they come up small/large/true to size (whatever that is)/stretchy?

According to their size chart my waist is a size 10, bust somewhere around a 14-16, wondering if it's stretchy I could get away with a 10 or a 12? Really want to make sure it fits my waist!

I got the Brigitte dress. Most of my 'bottoms' are a size 12, tops vary wildly depending on style (32GG)
I needed a 16, with the buttons undone and a vest underneath! 14 was too tight on the bottom half and unthinkable on the top!

I ended up ordering a couple in a size 12 earlier in the week on impulse (the two styles I linked earlier) and to my amazement they arrived today and they both fit my bust! They're a little too big on the waist but look ok with a belt. Absolutely love them - only problem is I want to keep them both when I can really only afford 1...

Glad yours has worked out too, just googled the tara and it's a lovely dress, sure you'll look stunning in it :)

Tenuous, I'm not sure you'll see this but my Lindy Bop Tara dress has just arrived and I'd say the sizing is a tad on the small size. It's probably a traditional size 12 rather than the vanity sizing that a lot of places seem to adhere to these days. Anyway, I'm keeping it despite it being a very snug fit, I just need to lose even more weight before the event I bought it for!

I wish you'd posted this before I placed my order. I'm convinced mine will be too small now I've lost 2 dress sizes this year so far and I'm buying it as a bridesmaid dress.. Oh well, I'll find out and post tomorrow!

May be worth a shot then, think I'll just order a range of sizes (stuck between prints!) and hope at least one of them will fit, otherwise back to the drawing board!

You probably won't get the miles too big on the waist thing. From experience the boob bit is tight and the waist even tinier.
Have a look on Amazon at the reviews for the style they are generally pretty honest about tiny waists and smaller sizing. But yes a size up usually does me.

Was worried about that - not sure I'll bother then, if I go up a size I'll get the usual miles to big on the waist problem and not sure if I can be bothered to trek back up to the post office again!
