So far this is the best I've found but I thought I'd check with you before I part with my money Smile Have you seen anything this size, this budget, but nicer?

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. Today I went to the local shopping centre and noticed all the pretty young things sporting large totes on their elbows. It was like Michael Kors central. It's made me rethink the whole thing.

This doesn't look much on line but it's really nice in real life.

Belinda have you seen the Other Stories one in real life? If so, what is the quality like? In some shots it looks a bit like a doctors' bag - I don't know if that is a thing atm - saw a photo of Mrs Beckham with a similar one (although obviously 10 times the price)

This? Do you want gold or silver hardware, or don't mind?

I like the whistles one - the strap is long while most of the others' is too short and I always find it a pain with bulky coats.

I also prefer simple and understated of gold faff and tassel, which tends to date a bag to a trend/season.

Only concern is thin straps - if you fill a bag that big with an ipad and a bottled drink, will your shoulder get sore because the straps are too thin for the weight? I always transfer contents of current bag into new bag I'm "trying out" in store as a lot of bags don't sit well on my shoulder with my stuff in it (as opposed to empty).

Forget the previous one, I've just realised it's not real leather. No wonder it was so cheap! Sad

Hmmm..... The Zac Posen and the Halston are stunning bit too small. Got any more suggestions for me please?
