This River Island bag - nice or not?

I have this M&S one. I love it, but have added a shoulder strap.

I like the shape of the new look and oasis ones, but I'm not keen on gold detail. I like the river island one and I often wear that kid of bag because it is so easy and keeps hands free etc., but I think it's too big for what it is. You could end up putting too much stuff in it and bulking it out.... clicking on the other links, not the suede one, wow, the marc Jacobs one really stands out here and looks great! Totally get that the money would be hard to raise though!

I like the Oasis once but like others I'm not a huge fan of pleather.

As an aside, River Island have some great bags but I hate that they put their insignia on the front of all of them. It's not as though River Island is a premium brand.

I have the m&s copy, didn't realise it WAS a copy of a famous bag until I opened this thread!! Anyway, it is lovely soft leather, lined etc and seems to be wearing beautifully. M&s are doing a 20% off promo from 21 to 25 Nov if you have one of their codes/vouchers.

I liked all of your picks. You'd have to see them up close; some leather bags look plasticky and some faux bags look better than leather! The River Island and Oasis ones were the best.

I don't know how much your budget is but marks and spencer have a fab leather copy of mulberry Antony which looks lovely !! For around £60... I saw it in the flesh the other day it's really nice .
