Where on earth can I buy a g-string?!

JudithRestInPeace · 04/11/2012 11:07

I'm usually happiest in pants that go from my knees to my armpits Grin but I need to find a g-string in nude material ASAP. I thought I could just find them in M&S but apparently not.

I don't want anything frilly or fluffy - just nude colour material/ string. Any ideas on where I can find such a classy item?

One of the best time-saving solutions I think is this website: Amazon . Always so many choices and great prices.

Ah, thanks ladies!!

I do indeed have some large buns ready to cover me up at the crucial moment. All ladies involved are wearing g-strings/small pants - although we all have slightly different poses so have different underwear requirements, IYSWIM.

I'm in Essex, but we've already nearly sold out!! However, there are productions all over the country this year as the amateur rights are only available for a limited period of time. It's a funny play and we're having so much fun rehearsing it. We've certainly seen a lot more of each other than I ever thought we would!!! Anyway, if you see a production on near you, try and get a ticket - there must be lots of MNers involved in productions, so you're bound to be get one!!!

What's everyone else wearing? I'd demand some large props to cover my ample (we're going to need bigger buns) norks!

Just want to say well done you, you're very brave!

I've name changed after Halloween too btw was PrettyPrinceofDarkness.

Sorry, that was a reply to the OOS one.

No, I really can't do a c-string!! I can manage the g-string, but that's my limit!!

Thanks, though. I just knew MNers could help with this.

They look... stiff as well - I'd be worried they'd slip and poke you in delicate places Shock

No worries - as possibly good as it might have been, it's hideous isn't it?!!

BTW, have namechanged back after Halloween.

I think you must have to unpeel it, then stick it back on... Confused

Are you sure you don't want to do the nude body stocking instead Grin

Those C strings really are pointless, aren't they? You might just as well not bother, surely?

Oh good grief. I musn't google - it's unhealthy.

So, it looks like you need a a C-string but in some kind of flesh colour (or pube colour, whatever look your aiming for idk but I need to go look a fluffy kittens and flowers now)

Those modesty thongs look grim, mrsdmitri. Like a sanitary towel stuck on backwards... Confused
I am very concerned about the back of it... and what happens when you need the loo?

And I'm useless as I've just noticed it's OOS anyway, sorry Blush

They use 'modesty patches' when shooting nude scenes on film, but it doesn't look like they're commercially available - the nearest thing googling came up with was an Invisible Thong if that helps at all?

PS Couldn't you just buy a full length body stocking and pretend to be nekkid that way?!

I would think that you'd need something quite plain, so places like Sloggi, Bodas or Bonds would be your best bet. They all do strings as well. If you're very fair the ones on the Bodas website in 'Sea Shell' look more natural than in regular nude colours.

There is one g-string on Amazon by Bonds. It's very stringy. It may be just what you're looking for - as long as you're a size 12.

Sorry can't link, on phone.
