About to buy myself some new knee high boots
Liking these

and fancy wearing skirts and boots.
Anyone seen any nice winter skirts out there? Im not normally a skirt kinda gal so this is kinda out of my comfort zone. Thinking a cord and a denim skirt.

i'm imagining a long sleeve polo neck black jumper would look quite nice with chunky tights and boots. But then my fashion sence has never been great so maybe someone else will be along to give better advice!

Did anyone else get the purple Potion Wierdfish skirt, and if so what are you going to wear with it? None of my tops go, I wear a lot of berry colours but they all clash.

I just tried to re-do and it did the same.
I don't know how to fix it, sorry.
It's the mantaray light brown corduroy skirt.

I can't get your Debenhams link to work for me, it just goes to the main page.

Bought this one a couple of weeks ago...

I'm shocked at how bad it looks in these pics because it's actually lovely. Looks really nice with tall boots, uggs and ankle boots.
Tempted by this one now...

The purple potion isn't purple either, it is just like the photo, a dark pinky red berry colour.

I like the velvet skirt but the name colours! Mysterioso and purple potion? Is it a Halloween name change?

It wasn't anything exciting, just advertising their wares in broken English.

It was advertising - badly done advertising too Grin

I was wondering that too!?

I started a threat about boots and skirts... What could someone say on the subject to get removed? Confused I didn't think skirt choices could be that controversial :)

Ooh I like this thread. I have just remembered that I already have a black cord skirt that's years old from Benetton... I think it's actually about 15 years old! Must dig it out.

I have got to take it up by 2 inches though, I am 5ft 3.

There are a few Hobbs skirts in a similar shape on their outlet page. I tried a teal cord one that shape, not flattering to me as accentuated my stomach.

Like the Hobbs one (unsurprisingly) but faints at the price!

How long is the skirt? I am looking for about knee length as anything longer makes me look short and dumpy!
:( God im a stunner!

Nah, you don't need to size up. I ordered a 14 and a 16 as I thibkni am a 14, but actually still have a couple of stone of baby weight kicking about. Kept the 14, it fits fine. I haven't lost that much weight in two weeks of Slimming World.

ohh liking the weirdfish denim one but going by measurements and it says I need a size up. Very reluctant to buy the next size up as its the start of a slippery slope!

Hmm.. Maybe I should go on that diet :(
