So I've found my dream winter coat.
It's online and heavily discounted. I would never be able to afford it at its usual price. I usually wear a heavy-duty walking waterproof all winter, but really want to be smart this year.
It is available in a size 10 and then larger sizes.
I would always be a size 10 in tops, t-shirts, casual shirts etc, but would normally find myself needing a 12 for anything that is tailored across the boob area.
My bra size is 28ff or 30f, so my ribcage is small but I am full-busted (but not busty in appearance). I measure 36 and a half across the fullest part of my bust.
My lower half is a size 8.
Whenever I try on coats I end up buying a 12 to allow space for an extra layer on top (as my mother would say) but am always swamped around my waist, hips and thighs.
Will I get away with a size 10 or am I wasting my life dreaming?
Sizing advice says size 10 - 35 inch chest, size 12 - 37 inch chest. So according to that, I'm a 12 but it will be huge around the rest of me.
Should I just move on and stop thinking about it and get myself a life?
TIA.
