I never really wear eye shadow as I never really know which colour suits my eye and skin colour. Some of the colours ive used actually make my eyes look smaller in fact the only colour i like to bring my eye colour out is white.

Yes, grey is good, it's what my "colours" lady recommended for me for everyday when I had my consultation done.

I have blue eyes and pale skin. This is all I wear on an average day at work. I frequently get asked if I'm wearing coloured contacts when I do.

Just to qualify that, I occasionally do wear coloured contacts just to freak the guys at work out.

I used to work for MAC so here's my opinion -

Some of my favorite MAC colours for blue eyes, depending on how natural or dramatic you want are;

Neutral or Peach bases - Ricepaper, Retrospeck, Naked Lunch, Jest

Neutral/Browns/Bronzes - Soba, Wedge, Bronze, Satin Taupe, Amber Lights.

Greys and Dark Blues look good too - Print, Scene, SilverRing, Contrast

Brighter, more adventurous shades - Melon pigment (in their loose pigment range) and Sushi Flower are lovely. Corals and peachy orange colours can really make blue eyes "pop" as orange sits opposite blue on the colour wheel.

Lighter blues will look quite icy on blue eyes so generally steered clear of unless you are good at combining them with darker neutral shades like grey or black.

A lovely Peachy or coral blusher too. Anything from Dainty in their mineral blush collection to Pinch O Peach or Fleur Power would be nice. Or in their cream blushers and cream colour bases, Ladyblush (paler), or Fabulush (bit more dramatic, depending on how you blend it).

I second going to Mac. They have such a massive array of colours. Also, this must be a question they get asked a lot - so they'd all have 2 or 3 shades on the tip of their tounge they could show you.

I agree with taupe moving through brown and into copper depending on how dramatic you want to be. Purples can work too but you have to tread carefully so that they don't make you look knackered!! If you go to Mac there advice is fantastic (all of the counter staff are trained make-up artists) and the singles of shadow are not too expensive. (or you can take their advice then go to Boots!). Just visit a counter at a quiet time and they will give you lots of help.

Yep, sort of a light taupey colour, not too gold. If you look at jewellers windows, see what colour they put against sapphires - its always a sort of warmish taupe.

I'll try and find a pic hold on

White eyeshadow??? Confused

According to the experts the best colour to make blue eyes 'pop' is copper/bronze/gold. I have pale Irish skin and blue eyes and I agree. DP bought me the <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=www.makeupfiles.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/urbandecaypurple01.jpg&imgrefurl=www.makeupfiles.com/2009/02/20/makeup-review-urban-decay-eyeshadow-ammo-shadow-box/&usg=__S9me646ogw-EiuofQ9ieBhH-af8=&h=480&w=640&sz=305&hl=en&start=0&zoom=1&tbnid=F_QrRfxqbjGv6M:&tbnh=145&tbnw=193&ei=O4_4TaWvB8238gPepMDKCw&prev=/search%3Fq%3Durban%2Bdecay%2Bammo%2Bpalette%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26safe%3Doff%26sa%3DN%26biw%3D1680%26bih%3D925%26tbm%3Disch&um=1&itbs=1&iact=rc&dur=262&page=1&ndsp=40&ved=1t:429,r:18,s:0&tx=61&ty=52&biw=1680&bih=925" rel="nofollow noindex" target="_blank">Urban Decay Ammo Palette for my b'day and I cannot recommend it enough.

The 'Chopper' shade is fab with blue eyes, as are the 'Sin', 'Smog', 'Maui Wowie'. I also love the pinky/purple shades (Grifter and Last Call) The shadows are gorgeous quality with amazing pigmentation and they blend wonderfully.

This L'oreal one is another of my most used. Makes a mean smokey-eye.
