Do you have a child who likes to draw? Enter the Skyscanner ‘Favourite Holiday Memory’ Challenge

Even though it may be a few more months before we can go on holiday again, we’re lucky to be able to reminisce about the fun holidays we’ve had in the past. With this in mind, Skyscanner would like your children to get creative and draw us a picture of their favourite holiday memory.

Here’s what Skyscanner has to say: “We’d love to find out what your child’s favourite holiday memory is and have them draw it. Maybe it’s a funny incident that happened? Perhaps it was a beautiful landscape that left an impression, or an unforgettable moment when they tried something new for the first time? Just download the Skyscanner play pack and share it with us on this thread!”

What is the Skyscanner play pack? It is a free weekly downloadable activity sheet filled with fun activities, games and puzzles to keep your child occupied. We know how tough it can be to juggle both work and personal responsibilities (especially with a restless little one), so we hope this helps take some of the pressure off. And if you need more ideas on how your kids can be happy without actually going out, here are a few more ideas.”

How to take part:

1. Download and print the Skyscanner play pack if you have access to a printer (don’t worry if you don’t).
2. Have your child draw a picture of their favourite holiday memory. If your child can’t think of a holiday memory they could always draw their dream holiday instead!
3. Take a photo of your child’s picture and post it on the thread below. As much as your child would like to show off their picture, we kindly ask that you do not post a photo of your child themselves.

We know that every child has a great imagination and we’re sure that all of the drawings posted will be prize worthy. That’s why we’ll be randomly selecting 6 winners who will each receive a £50 voucher for a store of their choice (from a list).

This is 7yo DD’s picture of our holiday in the south of France. It was a couple of years ago so obviously more memorable than I thought! We stayed at a tiny Eurocamp site near Toulon and went gorgeous sandy beaches every day.

DD (9) drew her favourite holiday memory of enjoying ice creams on the beach - with her brother getting chocolate ice cream all over his face!

DS (7) drew his favourite holiday memory of a chicken jumping up onto our picnic table at our glamming site and whilst strutting on the table knocking over our jam jar. This brought great amusement - and panic!

Hello, this is my son's holiday memory from the Forest Holiday last year at the Keldy site. (Not sure why him and his brother are on top of the trees - he said to see the baddies)

My son's favourite memory is visiting Portugal where we were lucky enough to see a dolphin splashing around just off the beach. Unfortunately, I broke my toe just a few minutes later and had to hobble about half a mile back up to the main road. It made our day even more memorable though!

10 year old Samuel's fave holiday memory is from last summer when we went to visit the blue nose head on the hill. As a massive Birmingham City FC fan this was the highlight of his summer.
