I know this isn't relationships but you lot are my friends and I wanted to share. It's taken 16 months due to getting finances agreed post 18 for DS2, despite dickhead admitting adultery, but I am finally, officially, legally divorced. Grin , Sad , Confused , actually make that Grin

Thanks again all you geese. Grin I think the only solution to the skin of a much fatter woman is plastic surgery, but in the absence of the cash, time, courage and vanity of that, maybe spanx? Blush

Couldn't have managed it without the support and company of you lot. Thanks And some RL friends, too, of course, but MN has been a great find for me. There's always someone, somewhere up for a chat. Xx

auntevil, the first 2 stone just fell off due to stress within 3 months and I liked the look of this slimmer me, so I've just kept at it. I've always been a bit of a yoyo dieter, but I haven't weighed this little for more than 20 years and so far it's staying off. Shame I have the skin of a much larger woman! Blush

Oh well done Ellen for seeing this through with such strength and dignity - a stressful, horrible chapter is now over and you can look forward to good things. Well done on the weight loss too, brilliant! I could do with some of that too.

i remember when i got my decree ab - went out and celebrated by imbibing drinks beginning with all the letters in DIVORCE!

not a recommendation, i felt like pure shit the day after, but it started my new life with a bang!

well done Ellen - sending more Cake and Thanks as you've been a rock for us here even though you've been going through it yourself

BeeMom, good timing!

Got my copy through the post today and it was made absolute last Friday. I've been divorced all weekend and didn't know. I thought I might shed a few tears, but, you know what, I may do in the next few days/weeks, but today it's fine. I would prefer him to be out of my life, but with 3 boys who still love their dad, I'm never going to be completely shot of him. Grrr!
