Large turquoise gradient box -why?

I'm using the mobile site in Chrome. When I click a thread, the thread loads but a big turquoise gradient box appears on top of the thread. It's really annoying!

Any ideas?

Mobile site, windows phone here. Happened to me once, about the same time as you first posted, went on to the next page and it was replaced with a different ad, I just assumed it was an ad which had gone wrong. (Think I was lurking on honeydragons 'hidden' thread at the time, if that helps at MNHQ)

Is this happening when you click on any thread, or just a specific one? If it's EVERY thread, we can see that'd be pretty annoying!

Just had it again on the second job thread in relationships, definitely an ad, clicked on it accidentally and it took me to niluxtechnology.com/store/

Just happened to me too. It's not every thread but roughly every 3rd one I click. Hasn't happened before, just this morning.

Mobile site on safari here and it's happening on every thread for me. Not in active convo's though

For me it seems to be every two or three threads. The box moves with the text too, so it's not just a case of scrolling down - it follows.

I've got it too. Blocking top half of screen completely on list of threads in every topic. Only got on this thread because it was far enough down the screen to be visible. It takes me to another site if I click on it so presumably an ad gone wrong.

Thanks for reporting and apologies this is bothering you all, the information you have provided is really helpful, we're going to block ads for niluxtechnology.com/ which we think will do the trick. Has anyone else clicked on it by accident and been taken to that page?
