Can anyone help with comparisons of these please? and also help with the following.

Does either fold with the seat on?

Can you used the carrycots for longterm overnight sleeping?

Price wise how do they match up, can't see a price for the apple anywhere?

Thanks in advance.

PMSL at Apple being a classy pushchair. Babys do so worry about being considered chavs whilst they are pootling along shitting their pants Grin

Look here goes ill give it to you all straight. Money is no problem to us and we wanted a top of the line buggy and we narrowed it down to the icandy apple and the bugaboo cameleon, we read lots of reviews from lots of different websites and have come to the conclusion that on this pretty daft celebrity status thing the cameleon seems to be winning BUT and a very big BUT, the cameleon is far too low and i personally think people look a little neddy pushing one. Being a celebrity myself im opting for the classier apple which is a bit heavier but at least my kids arse will not be scraping along the pavement and if i want to kiss my child in its carrycot i will be able to. Dont get brainwashed by the cameleon just because madonna had one. As i said before, im a celebrity and i went for the classier and better apple. You get my drift?

I have had all 3 and I would absolutly say the Peach is the bast of all 3.. and less expensive than a brand new bugaboo.. it folds really compact. Carrycot is safe to use for overnight sleeping and the option of making into a double later on.. Its lovely to push steer and my littleman kept getting his arms out of the straps and unexpectidly pulling the breaks on my Cam (PITA) they were at a perfect hight for him to get at!

I always think the chrome looks a bit much on the Peach...

I initially had the Cameleon and now the Apple.

I had about 3 months of bliss with my Bugaboo and then started to have probs. I seemed to have the problem that a lot of Mum had with the screws on the handle bar and then my brake stopped working. I was told with both faults that they would both be solved in around 10 days but the handle bar took 33 days and I received a new chassis for the brake bar after 41 days and then this too started to go wrong after 4 months in which I prompty returned my Bugaboo for an Apple.

I have no problems what so ever with the Apple. The quality is what you dream of from a British company.

i have heard that the build quality is better on the peach as well.

Why buy the apple when there is the Peach? Peach has a lighter chassis, the carrycot can be used overnight and it looks pretty smart with the shiny crome. I've been using mine since feb and have no fault with the build quality. Admitedly, not used the oushchair attachment yet, but the carrycot isreally comfortable and i'm really glad i picked this over he bugaboo. You get no drafts with the icandy, but the bugaboo does around where the hood meets the carrycot.

happy shopping!

oh and the zips break really easily on the icandy seat fabrics, i had to replace them as well.

i have had both the icandy and bugaboo and have to say the quality of the bugaboo is much better than the icandy. my fold bit on the icandy handle broke not long after i had it. i did love it as i converted it to a pear for my twins but wouldnt have bought it over a bugaboo (i keep hoping they will make a double bugaboo). the bugaboo feels lighter and easier to push, the fabrics are better quality but the basket is smaller. another great thing with the bugaboo was that i could take the wheels off and fit it in tiny spaces between the seats when i had a boot full of shopping. there is a knack to folding it but when you have it sorted its really quick and easy. there are some great bargains on e-bay i have seen them as low as £150 for a cameleon so you could buy one and sell it back on for a profit if you hate it. i would be wary of buying a secondhand apple. i had the frog for my first child and a gecko and cam for my second.

I have the Bugaboo and love it. I had a bit of trouble putting it up to start with but once I got the hang of it have never looked back. It looks nice and it's so comfortable. I have tried DS (18 months) in the recently purchased Quinny Zapp and he refuses to go in it, he's never done that with the Bugaboo. It still looks new too a year and a half later.

Good luck choosing!

Uh, I never had an umbrella pushchair as well, however, I drive a mini and when DD was 2, I bought a quinny zapp as it fits in the boot of my car really well (however, I only have used it twice so a complete waste of time) at least the maxi cosi car seat fits on both chasis (using different clips)

I'm still using mine for DD who is 4 in july. she still fits, and it still steers with one hand. She is about average height and weight.
I'm downsizing to the new bee plus shortly though as we hardly use it but yet it takes up a lot of space in the boot just in case......

Thanks OWO

Can you use it right up until DC doesn't need a pushchair, if we do shell out then I know DH will be dead against buying an umbrella type without selling the Cam.
Which would mean me resorting to the knackered old Maclaren in the Cellar.
