Is anyone else 9+ weeks?

Hey lovelies!
I'm currently 9+2 weeks and looking for anyone who is at a similar stage as me! I'm constantly looking on these threads just for someone who can share this journey with me, it gets kind of lonely without a pregnancy friend!
I have my booking in appointment on 24th and my 12 (although I'll be 13 weeks) scan on 7th June... which seems such a long way away!
Anyway please feel free to say hi 👋🏽

@TTc we had our scan yesterday, they did the measurements for nuchal translucency and the bloods for screening all at the same appointment. It was a surreal experience seeing the little bean in there. It was upside down to start with but flipped around during the scan. Didn't hear the heartbeat but saw it busily beating away in there 😍

I'm so nervous about my scan tomorrow. I know its silly but I just can't get the feeling that something has gone wrong out of my head. But I think its because I have high risk pregnancies and have lost my last pregnancy.
The scan is tomorrow at 4pm and dp is coming with me

TTc2019BabyNo1 everything went well. Midwife laughed when I said I have had zero symptoms. So going by my last period I should be 13.1 but baby was measuring 14.5 today! So they are sending me for another scan tomorrow where they do more accurate measurements and get an exact dating. Baby was a bit wriggly today but definitely measuring bigger. Hope everything goes well for you. Let us know xx

@Dreamsunshine ahh yay i’m glad it’s all well! That’s interesting, what does that mean then? That he/she is growing quickly? Because surely you can’t have got pregnant before your lmp?

TTc2019BabyNo1 lol I've no idea! Baby could be just measuring big. Baby daddy was 10.5lb when he was born lol will know an exact date tomorrow when they do more measurements. Xx

@Dreamsunshine also had my scan today. Actually had 2. One with MW and another with consultant to make sure there're no red flags regarding cromossomal anomalies. All well thankfully.
They've adjusted my due date to the 5th December after the measurements.

Ladies who have already had their scans - are you able to assist - I’m just reading my letter ready for tomorrow (a bit late I know) and it says to bring a ‘consent form’ from the midwife in order to have the screenings. I didn’t get a form from the midwife? We discussed the screenings and we both said we might as well get them all done but I didn’t get any form. Did anyone else?
I do have a form that I have just completed for the screenings which came with the scan letter but it doesn’t say it’s the consent form...?!
Sorry panicking as i’ve been disorganised!!

@TTc there wasn't a consent form for me, just verbal confirmation that I'd discussed the screening with the midwife and was happy to go ahead. She also asked me about another (unrelated) form I didn't have, which I should have been given by the midwife, but when it turned out there wasn't one she just wrote me up a new one. So I think your sonographer should be happy to go ahead with verbal consent, and if they need a form I'll bet they can have you fill one in at the appointment. They won't deny you the screening just because of a missing bit of paper when you're there in front of them saying you want it, I'm sure!

All that worry and build up for literally a 5 minute appointment. We were in and out so quickly!
I have a baby!!
Unfortunately it was too small by 0.5mm to do the screening and dating. Which means i’ll be due a week later than expected - so Christmas Day/Boxing Day!
Got to go back for the screening and dating scan in a couple of weeks!

How did the rest of you get on?? 😃

Mine went well, we have a thumb sucking baby who we saw yawn and jump around then flipped onto their belly so made it difficult to measure but they managed it. Due 10th December! X
