DD1 was 10 on Thursday. For the last few years I have played safe with taking her and a few friends bowling, theatre, beauty salon etc, but this year (being her 10th bday) I decided she could have a proper party. So last Thurs we had a disco in our lounge and invited 13 of her friends. Luckily our lounge isn't too small and my DH is a DJ!

It was a warm evening so the girls alternated between the disco and playing outside in the garden (trampoline, apple-bobbing etc) and I did pizza etc for the food.

They all really enjoyed the party but by 8 pm I was thoroughly knackered and shell-shocked (10-years olds can become quite wild when they're in a pack!).

Great night, but I'm glad it's over. Now I've got a party to organise for DD2 who will be 5 in December and her Reception class has 30 kids! Oh dear .....

We had a camp out in the garden with a campfire and "smores",it poured down during the night so they decamped into the house!!

For her 11th we had an afternoon tea party and the girls made cornish pasties and cream scones for themselves and had tea from my best china.

We did a spa party for my daughters 10th and sleepover for 6 friends. The girls helped each other with manicures and pedicures and facepacks. They had a great time. With a boy and girl, having done most of the usual party things over the years this was one of the best.

DD was ten in June. Had a party here for friends and relations. She then had a sleepover with about 8 of her friends. She throughly enjoyed it as I dont have many parties but Ds had a party for his 10th and DD2 will be 10 next June and is already planning her 10th Birthday party, she wants to go bowling.

Dd was ten in June.

She had 4 friends round for tea, they played on the Wii, watched videos etc. Our house is on 3 levels and they had great fun playing hide and seek. We did home made pizzas and let them make them up themselves. Dh always went round and collected them and took them home again.

Tbh they had great fun, I think, because we had it homefor the first time in years.

Can't remember. Snowboarding or bowling I think. Have also done laser quest and a 'Jolly Roger' party at the swimming pool.

DD is 10 in April and I think she wants to take some friends kayaking at the YMCA.
