Hi,
My daughter is 13 months and I'm a SAHM. I've been to a couple
of toddler groups recently (just before the holidays started) and noticed all of the babies were happy exploring their surroundings, but my DD was clinging to me and just trying to climb on me and sit on my lap. She's very much like this at home too, if I sit on the sofa, she will pull at my legs and cry/moan until I pick her up, or go back to sitting on the floor. I know this is not healthy for either of us and I'm finding it extremely suffocating and hard work, to the point I'm not enjoying being a SAHM anymore. I don't know if I'm expecting too much, but surely I shouldn't have to sit on the floor all day, trying to entertain her? Any advice would be helpful.
Thank you!
